U.S. CONSULATE, LAGOS
The United States is constructing its largest consulate in the world on a 12.2-acre site in Eko Atlantic, with a remarkable investment of $537 million. The design features a diagrid façade inspired by Nigerian patterns and incorporates eco-friendly elements, such as renewable energy, water recycling, and climate resilience.
FIRST BANK
First Bank is developing a 43-story headquarters in Eko Atlantic, which is set to become Nigeria’s tallest skyscraper. This sustainable building will include smart offices, an integrated banking hub, and energy-efficient systems. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on March 5, 2025, and was attended by top officials.
RUGBY SCHOOL NIGERIA
Rugby School Nigeria, the first African branch of the British institution, is currently under construction in Eko Atlantic. It is set to open in September 2025 with a Sixth Form program, eventually expanding into a full secondary school by 2026. Over 600 workers are constructing state-of-the-art facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, sports fields, music studios, and an innovation center.
EMMANUEL CHAPEL METHODIST CHURCH
Emmanuel Chapel Methodist Church is building a state-of-the-art A-frame complex in Eko Atlantic, designed under the theme “Hands in Prayer.” Awarded to Buildisa Construction FZE in October 2024, this project has been underway for over three years. The church will serve as a faith-based landmark, featuring modern facilities, an auditorium, meeting rooms, and meditation gardens.
ORCA DECO MALL
This shopping and entertainment hub, being developed by ITB Nigeria, spans 30,000 square meters. It will feature high-end stores, fine dining options, a cinema, and family entertainment, providing a world-class retail experience for both tourists and residents.

PHOENIX TOWER
Phoenix Tower is a luxury residential building located in Eko Atlantic’s Downtown District. MTN CEO, Karl Toriola, confirmed a few years ago that the company’s new headquarters would be situated in Eko Atlantic. As the first telecom operator to establish a presence in this coastal city, MTN’s move signifies confidence in Eko Atlantic’s potential as a premier business hub in Nigeria. “Beyond connectivity, we are committed to making long-term investments in Lagos. As part of this commitment, we have acquired a piece of land in Eko Atlantic City and will commence construction once we have received the necessary equipment,” Toriola stated at the MyLagosApp launch event in Lagos. “We can now confirm that the new office is almost at the final stage of construction.
