We are pleased to announce the upcoming 2nd Ramadan Lecture & Special Prayer for Oyo and Environs, a spiritually uplifting event designed to promote unity, peaceful coexistence, and the blessings of the Almighty for the people of Oyo and its surrounding areas.
Date: Sunday, 8th March, 2026 (19th Day of Ramadan)
Venue: Federal School of Surveying, Oyo
The lecture will be delivered by Sheikh Imam AbdWaheed Muhammad Shittu Lárúbáwá, the Chief Imam, Federal School of Surveying, Oyo, on the spiritual implications of the holy month of Ramadan and the roles that Muslims can play in the development of our society.
The Spiritual Father of the Day will be Sheikh Imam Husayn Bilaal Akinola Akeugberu, the Grand Chief Imam of Ọ̀yọ́land, whose presence will add glamour to the event and bless us with his prayers for the peaceful coexistence, progress, and prosperity of Ọ̀yọ́land and beyond.
We hereby invite the Muslim Ummah, leaders, and the general public to participate in this holy and spiritually uplifting event.
