“Lay Lo” reflects Dami Laylo’s signature melodic Afrobeats style, blending smooth vocal delivery with contemporary Afropop and Afro-fusion elements. Production for the single was led by Urktave, producer and Creative Director at TryTaped Recordings Limited. His work on the record highlights the company’s commitment to advanced audio engineering and refined studio execution designed to enhance emotional depth and sonic clarity.
Known for his energetic studio presence, Urktave often uses the expression “Paralaylogram” during recording sessions to describe Dami Laylo’s creative momentum, symbolising continuous lyrical flow and artistic movement throughout the production process.
The collaboration between the artist and the production company was facilitated by Onyiyechi Gift Amadi , “AfroYana” Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TryTaped Recordings Limited and talent manager to Dami Laylo.
