A socio-political group pursuing the actualization of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition, Asiwaju Youth Mandate (AYM) has congratulated the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket.
In a statement by the group’s general secretary, Mallam Waliy Abdullazeez, Tinubu’s emergence attested to his dogged and resilient qualities discovered by other aspirants who stepped down for him.
He said that his group in accordance with its vision of promoting good governance is in support of every process of democracy, as demonstrated by the All Progressives Congress.
He described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory as a well-deserved one, considering his contributions to the development of democracy in the country, since its advent in Nigeria
“The landslide victory you recorded at the party’s presidential primary election is a reward for your contributions to humanity and the society.
“This is a victory for democracy and the entire citizens of Nigeria
“As you embark on another phase of the struggle for the emancipation of the Nigerian people, we wish to reiterate and assure you of our continued commitment to your emergence as the new president of the nation.
He called on leaders of the party to unite behind the presidential candidate and work for the success of the party in the coming general elections.
The group said whatever differences that exist within the party must be resolved amicably as the nation depends on it to continue the good work the APC-led administration has started.
