On Sunday, 10th April 2022 at Lekki Phase 1, friends and family gathered together to celebrate with the gorgeous Tejumade Adeyemo as she opened her store Royal Root Fabrics. A business she started running three years ago by selling just male fabrics but now, she sells unisex trying to meet the unending needs of her clients, at home and abroad.
One unique thing about Royal Root Fabrics is that their fabrics are carefully selected abroad and can’t be seen anywhere else. The new Marwa Hall in Lekki was totally transformed with beautiful decoration and nicely selected songs playing in the background as customers shopped different eye-catching fabrics.
The shop was beautifully stocked with luxury fabrics, such as sequence fabrics, brocade, stretchy fabrics, HOH, Swiss lace, cashmere, Atiku, HKG, Okutex, Taiwo Taiwo, Flex, Ready-to-wear aso-oke, velvet stoned caps amongst others.
There were also different boubou designs and other female styles on display.
There was so much to eat and drink, as guests shopped. The CEO, who was in the company of her mother and beautiful daughter looked stunning in one of her designs which her cute daughter also wore. The official opening of the store was done by Pastor Akintola, with the celebrant’s mum Olori Adeyemo while Tejumade Adeyemo and her daughter joined them in opening the shop officially before guests were ushered in to feed their eyes and also buy fabrics.
One special thing about Teju is her humility, she was available to usher her guests in personally, making everyone feel special and appreciated.
The multi-talented and award-winning star actress, Bimbo Thomas was the official MC at the opening. Many people who are familiar with the beautiful actress will tell you that she is very good at what she does. There was no single dull moment with her. She carried everyone along and also cracked rib-cracking jokes at intervals.
The pretty Anike Animashaun, CEO, of House of TL was on her feet to assist Tejumade, who is more like a sister to her. She made sure all the guests were properly taken care of. She also took time in showcasing different fabrics to guests, so they could buy them, which they did. She made sure everything went on smoothly.
Teju’s friends turned out in good numbers to support and also patronise her, amongst the guests that turned up were Kome Osalor, Mr Erommsele, Ope Oyinlola, Banky W, Pastor Akintola, Oloori Adeyemo, Mrs Falore, Henry Sanyaolu, Seun Obasanjo, Lisa Adeosun, Bimbo Thomas, Bimbo Daniels, Anike Animashaun, Dara, Lola, Otun Rotimi Ajanaku, Mr Gan, Elizabeth, amongst others.
In case you don’t know, aside from the Royal Root Brands, Teju also runs a security company. They deal in CCTV cameras, motorised gates and electric fences and the company is called Pignus One Security.
