Barely weeks after contributing significantly to community development and the Odosenlu-Alaro Kingdom palace building project, Canada-based philanthropist, Dr. Taiwo Olubanwo, alongside his wife, Chief (Mrs) Oluwakemi Olubanwo, has donated educational materials to pupils in Odosenlu-Alaro and neighbouring communities.
The gesture forms part of activities marking the 5th Coronation Anniversary and 70th birthday celebration of the Alaiyeluwa of Odosenlu-Alaro, Oba Adedotun Oduneye Odusanya, scheduled for August 30, 2025.
Dr. Olubanwo, a medical professional, public health leader, healthcare executive, and business magnate, is widely celebrated for blending medical expertise with business acumen and a strong passion for community development—particularly in rural and underserved areas. His influence spans multiple sectors, including healthcare, oil and gas, automobile, hospitality, and real estate.
Through his charitable vehicle, Regal Wellness Foundation Inc., where he serves as Chairman, Dr. Olubanwo has spearheaded numerous initiatives tackling food insecurity, healthcare access, and poverty alleviation. His impact has been especially felt in Nigeria, where his outreach has uplifted vulnerable populations.
Beyond financial contributions, he is committed to empowering communities, supporting infrastructure development, and expanding healthcare access. Guided by the philosophy that access to basic human needs should be a shared responsibility, Dr. Olubanwo consistently advocates for individuals in privileged positions to extend support to those in need.
