On Friday 27th January 2023, members of the City People Entertainment group, led by the Publisher, Seye Kehinde stormed Westsyde Exclusive Hotel & Suites at Ogombo, in Ajah, Lagos to honour the owner, Otunba Bode Adeotan, popularly called Otunba Westsyde, who is a Showbiz and Entertainment guru, currently celebrating his 30 years in the industry.
At that classy award ceremony, City People celebrated and honoured Otunba Bode Westsyde. The well attended event had rave of the moment, Ambassador Sesan Feelingz and his Juju Motion Band on stage. And he thrilled guests to no end, with his Gospel Tungba tunes. Many dignitaries honoured Westsyde, with their presence, like Kenny Jemilohun car dealer, Inspector Etim, Professor of Politics, Madiva & Otunba Segun Onifade and Otunba Tunde Allen to mention just a few.
As Ambassador Sesan Feelingz was on stage entertaining, many were on their feet, as they could not resist dancing to his sonorous fast paced music and enjoying the moment.
Otunba Bode Westsyde was celebrated for his remarkable contribution to the Growth and Development of the Entertainment industry. Otunba Bode Westsyde was very happy, as he took over the microphone from the guest artiste to sing at some point, and he danced with his lovely wife, Yeye Adeotan. And many joined them on stage to appreciate and celebrate them as well. Otunba who runs a flourishing chain of businesses, revealed that Westsyde Entertainment has been in existence for the past 30 years and he has produced and promoted over 300 big artistes, like Pasuma, Esther Igbekele, Muri Thunder to mention just a few.
He was really happy being celebrated, and was joined on stage by the likes of Otunba Onifade, Dr. Seye Kehinde and Kenny Jemilohun.
He dedicated his award to all the living legends in the Entertainment industry like Kenny & D1 and many others. A cake was cut in his honour at the spelling of the name “Jesus”. Everyone rejoiced and danced to the melodious tunes from Ambassador Sesan Feelingz. Everybody was amazed when Otunba Bode collected the mic and sang a few times. He was really good, he sang some old Juju & Fuji songs.
The party lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. Hours after the party started, people were still storming Westsyde Exclusive Hotel & Suites to celebrate Otunba Bode a.k.a Bode Westsyde.
It was indeed an exciting and memorable evening.
