Debo Adeniyi popularly known as (King Debo) always stands out in a crowd. The enormousness of his numerous natural abilities and qualities stand him out among equals. One can hardly meet a more confident young man who is self-determined. One who cherishes the life of the mind invests in self-development and continually stands out for his brain, intelligibility, and logic. He is well-read and certainly one of the very best yet to hold public office, and one of the most committed to the public good through his advocacy, public policy analysis, interventions, and philanthropic action for the public good across boards. This great and awesome talent was born on the 21st February 1982, in Gbagada town, Ward C, Kosofe LGA, Lagos State, into a prominent and ‘Noble family of Mr and Mrs Rabiu Adeniyi.
He attended Araromi Primary School in Akerele Gbagada, between 1987 and 1993, and later proceeded for his Secondary Education at Bariga Comprehensive High School (BCHS), now Ifako Comprehensive High School, Ifako Gbagada between 1993 and 1999 where he served as the Assistant Senior Prefect (ASP) between 1998 and 1999. He sat for the SSCE popularly called GCE, which paved his way to the higher institution.
He began his higher institution journey at Madonna University, Okija, Anambra State in the year 2000. He studied Accounting for two years but owing to financial constraints, He dropped out of school and came back to Lagos to seek knowledge in Information, Communication, and Technology. The skills and experience gathered in ICT led him to establish his first private firm (Debscom Technology Ltd) in 2005.
In his quest for more academic knowledge, he resumed his educational Journey at the prestigious University of Lagos between 2005 and 2010, where he bagged a BA (Hons) Philosophy. He also obtained his Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy at The University of Lagos between 2012 and 2014.
The skills and experience gathered in International Law, Foreign Policy, Law of International Institutions, International Development, etc., made him establish and incorporate a non-governmental organisation, a Think-tank in 2015, called the Centre for Global Solutions and Sustainable Development (CENGSSUD). The drive is anchored on advancing sustainable development and contributing to seeking practical and workable solutions to the world’s global challenges through advocacy, sustainability advisory, capacity development, research, policy development/analysis, and partnerships.
He is the MD/CEO of CENGSSUD Sustainability Services Ltd, a company established for working with the private and public sectors in implementing thriving Sustainability/ESG practices in core business strategies and operations. He also later established CENGSSUD Sustainability Academy, CENGSSUD Energy Solutions, CENGSSUD Migration Solutions amongst others.
Debo is a World Bank Speaker, Coach and Trainer}he delivers lectures at Board and Management Levels. He has facilitated and coordinated several Corporate Sustainability Management MasterciassesjTraining across Nigeria? where over 3000 personnel from various companies and backgrounds had been trained.
Popularly called King Debo, he is an indomitable political activist of significant repute in Nigeria. He was a member of the Media team of the Pro National Conference Organisations (PRONACO) in 2007, a Pan-Nigerian movement initiated under the leadership of the late Chief Anthony Enahoro and the Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, to resolve Nigeria’s perennial constitutional challenges. He was also a member of the strategy and media committee of the Mega Summit Movement(MSM) in 2009, which is a broad platform for political change champions & stakeholders, including elder statesmen & Leaders of thought in Nigeria. Chief Anthony Enahoro, Prof Pat Utomi, Chief Olu Falae, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Late Chief Rasheed Shitta-Bey among others.
He served as the Head of Media, Nigeria Intervention Movement, NIM in 2017. He has worked directly at various times with elder statesmen, Anthony Enahorn, of blessed memory, Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, the irrepressible Senior Advocate of the Masses, Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, Eminent Jurist, Ben Nwabueze SAN, Human Rights Icon, Olisa Agbakoba SAN among other political and constitutional stalwarts of our land. He began his political career with Congress for Progressing Change (CPC) in 2011, He was a Member of CPC, Kosofe Local Government, Lagos State, and later proceeded to serve at the National Level as a member of Media, Alternative Media and Strategy. He has worked directly with the Late Chief Tony Momoh (Former National Chairman of CPC), Engineer Buba Galadima, (Former National Secretary CPC) amongst others.
Debo played a significant role in the merger process and formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was in the company of President Muhamadu Buhari and Pastor Tunde Bakare at the APC National Convention at Eagle Square in Abuja in 2013. Debo represented CPC at the 2013 National Convention as a “Special National Convention Delegate”
Debo is a recipient of many awards in recognition of his contributions and service to his state, community, and humanity. He has in his possession various professional and ISO Certifications in diverse fields. Debo is a socialite to the core. He is an Associate Member of Unilag Senior Staff Club, Member, Ivory Health club, among others. He is happily married with children.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a man of gravitas and substance, a proven thought leader, who has produced human resources that have helped the country and the community, a man of the future, who has succeeded in bringing thousands of youths out of unemployment pool, a man who has continued to give children from poor homes hope for a better tomorrow, by using his personal resources to cater for their personal and academic needs. I present to you an icon and authority whose alumni is a very rich alumnus, Debo Adeniyi (King Debo).
On his 40th birthday, he announced his intention to run as a member of the House of Reps for the Kosofe Federal Constituency.
“I would like to use the grace of a special day like this, the blessings and prayers that follow this day to inform family, friends, associates, and well-wishers of my intention to run for a seat in the House of Representatives, Kosofe Federal Constituency.”
Permit me to say a very big thank you to my dearest and sweet mother. Mrs. Olubunmi Adenike Adeniyi. I was barely two months in her womb when my father died. She had the option to abort me and deny me the privilege to live and even witness a day like this let alone celebrating 40 years on earth, she also had the option to remarry and concentrate on her new home, but she never did but decided to concentrate on us and rather gave us the best care and quality education despite the little and constrained earnings. I say to her a big thank you. I pray that God in his infinite mercies will take away her ill-health and give her sound, divine, and quality health, long life, and prosperity. She shall eat the fruit of her labour in the name of Almighty God. Thank you, so much sweet mother.”

“My journey into the race is driven by the desire to make an impact on lives and improve my community; the desire to do more than just talk, and complain about our government and the issues facing us as a people, the need to be a part of the progress we all desire, change the narrative and to provide an alternative voice for the youths at the National Assembly.”

“I am going to be very vibrant, selfless, and outspoken in Parliament, especially during plenary in sponsoring bills and moving motions that will benefit of Kosofe Federal Constituency.
“I will prioritize the sponsoring of bills and motions that foster the health of Children, Women, and the care of the elderly ones.
“Sports and youth entrepreneurship will also be given priority in my constituency project so as to promote unity, self-development, build self-confidence and promote Job creation among the Kosofe Federal constituency Youths.
“I will build a constituency liaising office where my constituents will have the opportunity to make complaints and suggestions for the benefit of everyone.
“I will be holding quarterly town hall meetings with every ward in my constituency in which the people will determine what project they really wanted.”
“Constituency development funds shall be made public for everyone to see. How money is spent will be published for accountability. I will lobby the executive arm of government during the budget presentation in order to influence human-faced projects to my constituency.”
“I will be accessible at all times. My phone numbers will be published for everyone in the constituency to call and discuss fundamental issues that affect them and what will move Kosofe’s Federal Constituency Forward.
“I will sustain the voice of the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the National Assembly by fostering debate on building a better Nigeria at the National Legislative body. Having been a formidable voice in advocating the Not-Too-Young-To-Run movement.
“I hereby solicit for your moral and financial support in my aspiration as Honourable Member, Federal House of Reps, Kosofe Federal Constituency in Nigeria, come 2023.”
“This aspiration is a life-long vision, which I have shared with quite a few associates and some have been incredibly supportive, but some have advised against the move, I am aware it is not going to be easy, but with God on our side and the people’s support, we shall emerge victoriously.”
“Some said we didn’t have the funds to run, we say our strength lies in the support from the people. They said we don’t have the structure; we say to them that we will attempt to build it. They said, “what if you lose”? I say, what if we win?”)
“So, while we may not have all godfathers, but have God because. He that is with God is in Majority.”
