•Titled: The Day Of My Death
The day of my Death is a new book that has just been written by Dr. Femi Aribisala. He is the Coordinator of Healing Wings, an Evangelical Christian Fellowship. He is the author of “Kingdom Dynamics: Why Christians Won’t Go To Heaven,” and “Kingdom Dynamics: Why Pastors Don’t Go To Heaven”.
He is married to Professor Karen King-Aribisala, the award-winning author of “Our Wife and Other Stories” and “Kicking Tongues”. And they have a son, Femi Kevin.
In this 375 page book is a gripping quote “On 26 December 1993, armed robbers waylaid me on Lagos Airport road, and forcibly took my life. One of them fired his gun at me at point-blank range”.
“The bullet pierced the body of my car, ripped into my body, and killed me. I bled to death right there by the roadside. Imagine my surprise when I later discovered that the killer after my life was no other than Jesus Christ, my saviour”.

In the Acknowledgement in the book, Dr. Aribisala thanked all those God had used to help him. “Let me start wiht this confession. I did not write this book. God did. He wrote it over 20 years of my life. I did not know He was writing this. But now I know. What you have here are those things I learnt at His feet. He revealed them to me from faith to faith. (Romans 1:17) May His name be praised forever more. I would like to thank those He has used to help and encourage me along the way. They include Martins Hile, Jide Akintunde, Benzak Uzuegbu, Joseph Madueke, and other family members of Healing Wings, Chapel of Faith.
“A big thank you also to all those who have faithfully followed my Articles of Faith online every week for the past 13 years”.
“Many have found time to make comments on my blog and to contact me by Facebook and email”.
“Last, but by no means the least is my wife and partner, Karen King-Aribisala. She is the international award-winning writer in my family who has always been of great inspiration to me”.
Aribisala revealed how in 1994, God gave him a prophecy that coastlands and far-off people would listen to him. (Isaiah 49: 1)”. I did not know how this would come about but presumed He was preparing me for an international ministry”.
“Fast forward to 15 years later, a friend of mine, Keem Belo-Osagie, told me he was starting a newspaper and would like me to be one of the columnists. That is how I joined Next-on-Sunday in 2009. Muhtah Bakare suggested that my column should be titled: Articles of Faith, and I wrote my first article in March 2009 entitled: “Drunk Pastors.” To my surprise, coastlands, and people from afar started responding to my articles. It was only then that I realized that there was something new called the World Wide Web. I did not have to go abroad for God’s prophecy to be fulfilled. I could write something in my bedroom, and it would be carried on eagles’ wings on the internet to the 4 corners of the earth”.
In this era of the pandemic, ZOOM has also ensured that my voice can be heard abroad as I preach 3 times a week and now put my broadcasts on YouTube”.
This book details the reality of God in my life, outside of the framework of an established church. It shows how God taught me to hear His voice and to see His invisible kingdom. The relationship with God presented here is personal and engaging, and it should be a great inspiration to Christians and non-Christians”.
“Dear Holy Spirit, this book is about You and Your ways. I ask that You confirm everything here in the lives of the readers. According to the prophecy that You have given me about it, so let it be”.
