•Details of the 4-day event in Owo
The Olateru-Olagbegi royal family in Owo, Ondo state is gearing up to celebrate the 90th birthday of their matriarch, Olori Caroline Morenike Omoyeni Olateru-Olagbegi in grand style. The birthday celebration is scheduled to take place from Thursday, December 21st to Sunday, December 24th, 2023.
The family has planned a four-day event to celebrate the occasion. The celebration will commence with a Holy Communion at the celebrator’s residence on Thursday, December 21st, 2023. A Praise Concert featuring invited music ministers will follow later that day between 5 pm and 12 midnight at St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, Owo.
On Friday, December 22nd, there will be a Medical Outreach and Evangelism program at Oba Olagbegi Civic Centre, Owo, Ondo state, starting at 10 am. A mini reception to welcome invited guests will also be held at the same venue later that day between 5 pm and 9 pm.
The climax of the celebration will be on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, with a Church Service at St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, Owo, Ondo state, starting at 10 am. A reception and entertainment of guests will immediately follow the Church service at Boje Hall, Mydas Hotel (formerly Best Western Plus).
The event will come to an end on Sunday, December 24th, 2023, with a Thanksgiving Service at St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, Owo. The dress code for the event is Purple Monochrome for ladies and White & Purple Cap for men.
Olori Caroline is the wife of the late Olowo of Owo, His Royal Majesty Oba Sir Olateru-Olagbegi KBE. She is a fulfilled woman at the age of 90.
