Flybird jet with 11 on board crash-lands in Kano

A private jet operated by Flybird on Sunday morning crash-landed at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano.

 

 

According to reports, the aircraft, carrying 11 passengers, including three crew members, experienced the incident at about 9:30 a.m.

 

 

The jet was en route from Abuja to Kano when the unusual landing occurred.

 

All 11 occupants were reported to be safe, with no injuries recorded.

 

Flybird has since confirmed that all passengers and crew are safe following the incident.

 

 

As of the time of filing this report, details surrounding the cause of the rough landing had not been officially disclosed.

 

Airport authorities and emergency response teams were said to have swiftly mobilised to the scene to manage the situation and ensure safety at the airport.
