At the just concluded CityPeople Real Estate Awards held in Lagos, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu won the Best Performing Real Estate Governor of the Year award, for his remarkable achievements in the Housing sector.
Unknown to many, Gov. Sanwo Olu is one governor who has done a lot in the Real Estate sector. He has also put in place real estate-friendly policies over the last 3 and a half years.

• Channel Apartments in Victoria Island, Lagos.
• 48 units of Greater Lagos LBIC Apartments in Pen-Cinema, Agege, Lagos.
• 480-unit housing project in Ibeshe, Ikorodu.
• 774 housing units LagosHOMS, Sangotedo Phase 1.
• 100 housing units in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
• 360 home units, comprising 120 units home in Igbogbo, Ikorodu.
• 252 home units in Idale, Badagry
• 84 home units in Lagos Homs Lekki, Phase 2.
• 132 home units (88 home units and 44 home units of 3-bedroom apartments respectively) at the BRF Housing Estate, Iponri, Surulere.
• 120 units Courtland Villas, Igbokushu, Lekki.
• 492 home units in Lateef Kayode Jakande Housing Estate, Igando.
• 660 housing units at Odo-Onosa-Ayandelu Housing Scheme in Agbowa LCDA.
It is in recognition of his giant strides in the sector that he was honoured by CityPeople Magazine.
