How Ekiti Governor supports non indigenes

Non-Indigenous communities in Ekiti State are currently experiencing a revitalized era under the leadership of Governor Oyebanji. Beyond providing them with a sense of belonging in his government, the Governor recognizes them as integral stakeholders in the state’s development and progress.

To ensure that the interests of these communities, along with other segments of the state remain at the forefront, the Governor established multiple engagement channels through which all ethnic groups are carried along in the scheme of things in governance.

To this end , the Director-General of the Bureau of Community Communications, attended the end-of-the-year event organized by the Idoma community in Ekiti state for all their leaders across the state, yesterday .

During her address at the event, Mrs. Omotosho acknowledged the unwavering support of the community for the current administration. She emphasized that the creation of her Agency by Governor Oyebanji is rooted in the Governor’s commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that every segment of the state is actively involved in the governance process , especially at the grassroots.

Mrs. Omotosho reassured the community that Governor Oyebanji considers them valuable and holds them in high esteem. She encouraged them to continue to support the Governor’s initiatives.

In response, Dr. Oygocho Otache, the Ochi-Doma of Ekiti Idoma community, expressed gratitude to the Governor for honoring their invitation. He conveyed the collective love of the community for the Governor and their satisfaction with the transformative works he is undertaking in the state.

Dr. Otache who described Governor Oyebanji as the trade mark for all Governors in Nigeria,highlighted the predominant agricultural practices of the Idoma community, and pledged their continued contributions to Ekiti agricultural development drive .
