Pastor Dayo Ekong is a celebrity woman of repute who many young ladies and women look forward to in the society. She is a charismatic leader who is doing greatly as a pastor, philanthropist and politician. She presently sits at the elms of affairs of the Lagos Chapter of Labour Party being the party chairman. Pastor Dayo Ekong is very popular at Christ Living Spring Apostolic Ministry, CLAM. She is so much loved by everyone. They always enjoy her soul inspiring preachings which have won many souls for Christ.
Few Days ago, City People Reporter, Jamiu Abubakar (08085185886) conducted an interview with her where she revealed how her being in CLAM has totally transformed her and made her God conscious since she joined 24 years ago. Below are excerpts:
“That’s my father in the lord and he has influenced me a lot. One thing about him is that when he sees a talent, when he sees somebody with a bright future irrespective of what anybody feels and he sees the glory of God in your life, he encourages you.
“He is an encouragement. He helps you to fulfil destiny. Pastor Wole Olayidun has encouraged tremendously. He has been my mentor, my father in the lord that has encouraged me a lot. He believes when you have a talent, you should be able to exhibit your talent and showcase yourself. And that is why it was easy for me to be totally sold out in CLAM.
“Where I was coming from, just being a nominal Christian to a child of God. I would use that word because there has been a 360 degree turn around in my life since I entered CLAM and I thank God for that. You know, no matter what you do, like I always tell my children, without God, you are wasting time. So I thank God for ushering my steps into CLAM 24 years ago. I’m back and presently worship at CLAM’s headquarters.
