There is one beautiful Nigerian lady who is doing so well in the US right now. She is a professional. She is an Occupational Therapist in the US. She owns a Rehabilitation Clinic.
She is based in Brooklyn, in New York. This stunning beauty turned 60 a few weeks back. To celebrate with her, all roads led to Sandals Royal Resort in Barbados, where Princess Moryam Ladotun and her lovely friends gathered to celebrate with her, last Friday. She had only 1 family member in attendance. That is her nephew from Holland.
Though she lives in Brooklyn in New York, she decided to take her close friends on a trip to Barbados to enjoy themselves. So, it was a 3-days of fun and it was packaged as a Vacation/partying event.
It started on Friday, 14th January 2022 (the exact day she turned 60) and went on to Sunday 16th January.
Let’s tell you a little about the celebration. She told City People how it all went.
“On Friday, I welcomed my guests, as they arrived at Sandals Royal Barbados Resort where they partied with me for 3-days, ”she explained.
“The Theme of the Friday party was The 70s look, (Old Skool)”. What that means was that all her guests were dressed up, as if they were in the 70s and they also danced to 70s music. “It was fun all the way. We enjoyed ourselves”.
“Saturday (January 15) was the Banquet. We had a live band. The day started with guests going on excursions and tours of the beautiful island of Barbados. Praise & Worship started in the afternoon. This was followed by the Banquet party.”
“On the 3rd day, which was Sunday, 16th, January, there was an all-white pool party. It was a great celebration, ”she explained.
So, as from Thursday, 13th guests started flying in from all over the world, mainly from Nigeria, London, Canada & America. Music was by rave of the moment, Alujo. Gospel Singer, Laolu Gbenjo, led the 30 minutes Praise and Worship session on Saturday, via Satellite. And the wave-making Canada based Juju singer, Yinka Farinde flew to Barbados, to thrill guests. He gave a good performance.
Why the choice of Barbados, we asked the Birthday girl? What was on her mind for the 3 days, she celebrated in Barbados “The attraction is the lovely weather and the beautiful water, ”she said. “I wanted a birthday fashioned along with my lifestyle because I’m not really a party freak. But I just love to travel and have fun. I love to know the world around me. So, I just combined vacation and fun together and fashioned my 60th birthday celebration along with my lifestyle. Also, God has been marvellous to me. He stayed with me throughout my turbulent years and brought me out, victorious. I just can’t overlook his mercy over my life and my success. That was my thoughts behind the 3 days Barbados celebration. All my guests had so much fun”
How does she feel at 60? “I feel really blessed. I feel fulfilled.I feel accomplished. And I give God the Glory.”
Princess Moryam is a highly successful professional in the US. She is an Occupational Therapist and she has her own Rehabilitation Clinic.
She is from the ancient town of Ake, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Her maiden name is Egberongbe. She is also into Philanthropy. She is a big philanthropist. There is a Widows Camp in Ilorin that she supports, monthly and 2 orphanages in Ibadan. She marked her birthday with all of them. The widows celebrated her last Friday.
It will interest you to know that Princess Moryam Ladotun has lived in America for 3 decades. In fact, it will be 30 years on 1st April 2022. She is blessed with 2 lovely children, who she is so fond of. They are also fond of their dear mum. This beautiful lady loves looking good. She is stylish and forever looks elegant. She has lived a good life. She is an accomplished woman. No wonder she looks refreshingly young at 60. Happy birthday, Princess Moryam Ladotun.
