Satguru Maharaj Ji Village is rightly known as the Highest Spiritual Centre of the Universe because it is the dwelling home of all the forces controlling the affairs of the Universe namely: the Divine Forces of Love, the Ascended Masters, Cosmic Forces, the Galaxies and the Milky Way, who are all under the command and control of The Satguru. FOUNDING OF MAHARAJI JI VILLAGE
The founding and opening of Maharaj Ji Village is of monumental historicallandmark in the Divine Master plan of The Father of Creation’s mission of re-ordering the world. Prior to the Divine transformation on April 17, 1987, the virgin forest and its vicinity which situates at Km. 10, along Ibadan/Lagos Expressway, ado-ana Kekere, Oluyole LGA, Oyo State, inspires fear on motorists, who dread the isolated area as den of robbers.
Another reason for the awe-inspiring zone, hitherto, dreaded by mortal beings was the held general belief that the stretch of land is the international headquarters for the convergence (coven) of worldwide witches and wizards, for deciding the fate of the entire human race, before Maharaj Ji’s coming!
This, therefore, was the underpinning factor that informed Divinity’s choice of the location as the earthly base of the Great Light to save the world, since when Light comes, darkness disappears. Initial challenges associated with founding Maharaj Ji Village were by no means easy and ranges from menace of men of the underworld and land grabbers as well as logistics needs.
MEN OF THE UNDERWORLD
One of the major and foremost challenges was how to contain activities of men of the underworld who took advantage of the fact that the location is isolated from Ibadan city centre, used the area as criminal hot-spot for waylaying motorists and forcefully dispossessing travellers, plying the Lagos/lbadan Expressway, of their valuables in the night by throwing old motor tyres on the expressway, which forced drivers to stop for them to rob their passengers.
Investigation revealed that residents of the opposite ado-ana Keker Village; notably the landlords were behind the robbery incidents. Usually, they cross the express road to the bush on Maharaj Ji Village side of the road, from where they lay ambush for their victims and at the end of the operation, go back to their homes.
With the passage of time, state security operatives got convinced that Maharaj Ji Village residents had nothing to do with the criminal activities going on around the area. The Lord of the Universe entered into agreement with the Oyo State Government to provide constant security light in front of the Village, along the Expressway, since robbers will get disabled from engaging in their nefarious activities with the lights on and this was done. Since no robber, in his right senses would dare operate where there is Light.
Again, a clamp down on movement out of Maharaj Ji Village from 6:00PM till 6:00Am was put in place. The arrangement was such that only those who are mobile can move out of the Village within the stipulated period. Maharaj Ji Village Internal security operatives equally provided security surveillance within the zone.
The effort yielded the desired dividend in the year 2000 when it was proven beyond reasonable doubts that Ado-ana Kekere landlords were the armed robbers terrorizing the area. The fact came to lime light when female devotees of Satguru Maharaj Ji who were observing their monthly period in the house designated for that purpose along the expressway, noticed unusual movements within the area at the wee-hours of the day and reported the matter to SP Seye Brodimends, a fellow devotee who lives at Ado-ana Kekere. Brodimends wadded into the matter and invited the police, who came in, raided the place and made arrest of suspects.
It was a real case of armed robbery, whereby Hausa Cattle traders were robbed of the sum of seven million naira, being proceeds made from the sales of the cows in Lagos and were travelling back to the North.
When the armed robbers were paraded naked on BCOS, Ibadan, it was discovered that the culprits were ado-ana Kekere landlords. However, because we live in Nigeria, where anything is possible, the armed robbers regained their freedom with the passage of time.
MENACE OF LAND GRABBERS
Another major challenge was that posed by land grabbers. The same Odo-Ona Kekere landlords who got prospered with the founding of Maharaj Ji Village became a leech in the system. Due to dearth of accommodation in Maharaj Ji Village at the on set, pilgrims from all walks of life who came for succor under the Lotus Feet of The Lord, were forced to rent accommodation at Odo-Ona Kekere Village pending the time they will get answers to their problems. This boosted’ business activities that enriched the wallets of residents of the little
unknown solitary and sleepy village, giving rise to land speculation and grabbing.
One Chief Atere and Olagoke Alao, a migrant at Odo-Ona Kekere and the most notorious among the land grabbers, went berserk and swindled many innocent and unsuspecting land buyers of colossal sums of money, ranging in millions. With wads of unlabored easy cash in his pocket, he got intoxicated to the extent of going to prepare an “African Insured” cane with which he will use to flog the Supreme- Power-In-Person for Him to get hypnotized and lose consciousness, to enable him take over and sell the whole land.
At exactly 3:30PM on the day he entered Maharaj Ji Village with the cane, the juju caught up with him and he ran inside the bush. His wife and children came crying to Maharaj Ji and reported the matter after hours of intensive search for his where about failed. The Satguru asked to know the exact hour the incident occurred and He was told. Maharaj Ji encouraged them not to be worried with assurances that the Chief will come out from wherever he is inside the bush at the exact hour he entered Maharaji Ji Village with the “juju” cane.
Lo and behold, at exactly 3:30 PM the next day, the Chief rejoined his family and later apologized for his evil antics against himself. Like the saying goes, the death that normally kills the dog disenables it of its perspective ,sense of smell.
Hence, the Chief and his co-conspirators in land speculation got possessed by the Spirit of land grabbing and with Mafiosi gusto they went wild, emboldened by connivance with the police in collecting money from different people for the same piece of land.
This gave rise to a land dispute that lasted for forty years in courts of competent jurisdiction in the land. It is instructive to note here that at the fifteenth year, the leading star of the land grabbers lost his sight and became blind.
All kinds of conceivable intrigues were deployed to deny humanity the only safest and surest home for succor and solace. Bold steps were taken by the Kaduna Mafia using IBB and Abacha to acquire the land, but all failed. Late General Adisa was used. The Lebanese came in a trial, no way. Col. Ike Nwosu as Military Administrator of Oyo State staged the mother of battles by these forces to grab Maharaj Ji Village and at the end of the day got disgraced out of office as well as from the army with ignominy
