Come Sunday, May 26, 2019, the whole of Ibadan will shake to its foundation, as popular businessman cum socialite and the President of Ibadan Polo Club, Femi Akerele is set to host the crème da la crème of the society into an exclusive party at Polo Club, Ibadan.
The party, we exclusively gathered, is to commemorate his mum and wife birthdays; his mum will be 80 on May 25 and his wife 45 on May 26. The party, no doubt, would have in attendance the top celebrities from Ibadan social establishment and beyond, top members of social clubs across Ibadan and many others.
Though we couldn’t get details of the party but a source revealed to us that KSA or Yinka Ayefele is likely to be on the bandstand. This won’t be surprising, Femi and his wife, Jumoke, are known to have a high taste for quality things, be it in their social or normal lives.
They have a standard that can never be compromised and the same thing is applicable to how they host their parties. They are excellent hosts and they always make sure that the best of them are served at their parties, interns of drinks and foods. They serve strictly exotic wines of high grade The also promises to be a bang not because it is going to be 2-in1 but because the last time they held a big party was the wife’s 40th birthday five years ago. The memory of the party is still very fresh with those who witnessed it then; it was the mother of all parties of that season.
