Controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo has taken a swipe at the VicePresident Yemi Osinbajo for refusing to sign the Dangerous Drug Amendment Act of 2016 on the grounds the pharmaceutical sector should first be restructured.
Kemi Olunloyo, who claimed to be FDA Consultant give reasons why the act should be signed as soon as possible
- kemiolunloyo@Regrann from @hnnafrica – #HNNInvestigates#HNNGov Yesterday 2/22/17, Vice President Osinbajo refused to sign the Dangerous Drugs Amendment act of 2016 among 4 bills he declined in a country where pharmacy is NOT regulated. As a White House and Governor award winning US trained pharmacist I currently consult for the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) America’s NAFDAC. I have never seen such a disgraceful conduct coming from someone acting as our President. The whole thing was chaos on TV. Nigerians are dying daily from purchasing wrong drugs, adulterated drugs, counterfeit and expired drugs and needlessly dying not even knowing what killed them. It is estimated that at least 300,000 die yearly from drug related causes. Prof Osinbajo Tramadol is one such drug. All the okada riders buy that one in the evening at 6pm when they are ready to switch jobs from okada transportation to ARMED ROBBER. They are high as shit and shoot anyone. Pharmacies literally say they don’t “have or carry” the drug. This was a schedule 5 drug in America in the 90’s that was quickly moved to schedule 2 narcotic when it’s danger and addiction was discovered in that second nitrogen ring in the chemical structure. Pls follow up on what Roli did at NDLEA. She wrote an order banning the sale of Tramadol without a doctor’s order in a paper prescription hard copy. Too many narcotics are flowing around Nigeria. Dihydrocodeine next! A drug that has RUINED LIVES in America (Vicodin) is just N480 per satchet. I buy it monthly for my dads cancer pain and literally shocked how it’s just sold to me. A pain killer that people not in pain are popping for highs or crushing to snort. All these drugs should be restricted! Pls finish what Roli George started and irresponsible late Dora Akunyili ignored. I ripped Dora in life 2006 and death because we actually had a PHARMACIST up there at NAFDAC whom the US Attorney General said did nothing about regulating drug laws in Nigeria. This was during the Kano Trovan lawsuit which Nigeria got $75M, Kano got $10M and the rest $65M vanished under Dora and her lover and BOSS OBJ.
SIGN THE BILL ALREADY SIR!!! PROTECT NIGERIANS Now!!
