Mama Susan Oyemade has retired from active service, but she is still very much active in retirement. Although she has  been retired  for years now, but she still lives a fulfilling life, taking each day as it comes and helping many people to find their purpose and to fulfil it.

At 79, going to 80, she is an accomplished woman. For those who still can’t catch the drift, this is the woman who introduced Forever Living business to Nigeria. She retired in 2007. Although, she  lives in Dubai, United  Arab Emirates, she still frequents Nigeria with her ever supportive husband.

She is a professional Wellness Coach who delivers lectures all over the world. She often tells people that their Body is their best physician. She says she did not get to know this until she fell ill years back. And it was in the process  of finding a stolution to that health challenge that she discovered that when it comes to Health, God has created us with everything in us. “If you give yourself a chance, the body will heal itself. Many  people are ignorant about this fact.”

Although Mama is 79 and eager looking forward to her 80th next  year you won’t know unless you are told. She founded Forever Living Products, Nigeria Ltd very many  years ago, when City People met her a few days ago, we were stunned at how trendy Mama looked, with no signs of ageing. no wrinkles. She walks sprightly with no walking stick. She is still very agile. She looks healthy. Over the  years, she has nutured her skin. No wonder it glows like that of a new born baby.

Wait for this. She reads without glasses. She also has a razor sharp retentive memory. She is mentally alert. Her power of recall is fantastic. You won’t believe that she is social-media friendly. She is active on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. She is on  her MAC laptop all the time dispensing information and searching for new discoveries. She is goggle friendly. She is always on Youtube where she teaches. No wonder Mama is very current interms of global best practices.

She is very strong. She travels round the world with her husband to deliver lectures on Wellness & Healthy Living.

All she loves to talk about right now is how to live long in good health. She is very knowledgeable about Healthy living.

She is now fully into Training, Online. She does retreats frequently in Dubai on Spirituality & Personal Development.

At 79, going 80, Mama says she can’t just sit down and do nothing. Anyone who does that will be sick. You have to know how to age without ageing. She teaches how to prevent and manage a lot of the lifestyle ailments like Stroke, BP, Heart Attack, Diabetes, Prostrate, Cancer and many more. She trains people to know more about their health.

Lets tell you more. She retired from FC Products Nigeria as MD in 2017.

Mrs. Susan Shola Oyemade, a Fellow of the Society of Teachers’ in Business Education, is an Educator, a Secretarial Administrator, Nutrition and Weight Management Consultant, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a PSYCH-K Facilitator, a PSiO Ambassador, an Entrepreneur, a Motivational Speaker, a Transformational Leader and a Philanthropist.

She had her primary, secondary and teacher’s training education in Nigeria before proceeding to England in 1964 where she studied and obtained her professional qualifications, Higher Secretarial Diploma and Teacher’s Diploma in Business Education.

While in London, Susan worked as a Secretarial Staff and also as a Teacher. She is a member of various professional bodies, amongst which are: Fellow of the Society of Teachers in Business Education (UK), Lecturer Member of the Institute of Qualified Private Secretaries (UK), Member of the Nigeria Association of Business Education (NABE).

She returned to Nigeria in 1972 and worked as Executive Secretary as well as a part-time Lecturer.

In 1976, she established Speedwriting International Secretarial College, an affiliate of the London Business College. The graduates of the college occupy top positions in reputable organisations globally.

She passion for quality education inspired her to serve on the Board of the following Educational Institutions at various times: Lagos State Continuing Education, YWCA Secretarial College, Atlantic Hall Educational Trust Council, Grange Education Limited. Currently, she is serving on the Board of Trustees of Westerfield College, Lagos and The Teaching Network Foundation as well as the Down Syndrome Foundation Nigeria.

In 2006 her philanthropic nature, moved her, with the help of her husband, Engr, Wale Oyemade, to build a Centre for Skill Acquisition for the inmates of the Female Prison, Kirikiri, Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria where the women acquire various skills, undergo personal development training and prepare themselves for life after prison term.

With her Heart of Compassion Foundation, the Foundation for the Development of Children and Youths, Susan & Wale Oyemade Foundation and with the support of her husband, many children and youths have been put to school, from primary level to the university with full scholarship.

Many Women and Youths have also been empowered through her Foundation with interest-free revolving loan. Periodically, Susan renders financial assistance to hospital long-stay-patients.

Susan also offers free counselling to both young and old free-of-charge all over the world.

Her love for others to enjoy good health and have financial freedom, motivated she and her husband to assist Forever Living Products International, USA to establish and run Forever Living Products Nigeria where thousands of people are enjoying good health and financial freedom. The ripple effect of this has spread to many African countries as well as the continents of the world.

In recognition of her service and contributions, she received the following awards. Merit Award of the Counselling Association of Nigeria (1997), ECOWAS Distinguished Corporate Achievers of the Year (1998), Outstanding People of the 20th Century Award, International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England (2000), Youth Developer of the Year 2004, Northern  Forum, National Youth Council of Nigeria), Achievers’ Award for Leadership Excellence of Women’s Contributions to Nation Building and the Universal Peace Federation Ambassador for Peace Award (2011), etc, Mama Susan Oyemade has the love of children, youths and elders at heart.

Her hobby: Learning, listening to classical music, writing and observation.
