The Rivers State Governor Siminialaye Joseph Fubara is a well-known technocrat whose experience in running well tailored administrations is second to none in Rivers State. His New Rivers Consolidation team is set to showcase his ability to control and deliver serious projects and if possible surpass his predecessor in office, no wonder he was the choice of His Excellency Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike who saw in him the tenacity and hunger for development of Rivers State. Immediately he took the oath of office, Sir, Siminialaye Joseph Fubara did not waste time in setting the ball of his administration rolling with the appointment of first Four Commissioners who served in Wike’s government including Commissioner for Works Alabo George Kelly Ph.D; Isaac Kamalu Commissioner for Finance, Professor Zacheaus Adango as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General and Chief of Staff Amadi. The question mostly on the lips of most critics remain, why must Siminialaye Fubara reappoint some of the Commissioners who served in the Government of Nyesom Ezenwo Wike? He was quick to have said that he needed to return some of the officials who played major roles in the success of the previous administration as they have wealth of experiences that will benefit the good people of Rivers State. Secondly Sir, Siminialaye Fubara reiterated the fact that he needs a team that can work with him to deliver the dividends of democracy to his people of Rivers State.

ENGINEER
EMEKA WOKE
Clever, and smart Engineer Emeka Woke served as Chief of Staff to Governor Wike for the 8-years he was Governor. Engr. Woke was a former Local Government Chairman of Emohua LGA during the period Wike served as Chairman of Obio/Akpor. During his 8 years in Government House, his performance in helping the ever-busy Government House administration under Nyesom Wike in achieving high quality project delivery has been described to have been one of the factors that earned him nomination as Commissioner of Special Duties which is equivalent to a plenipotentiary position, an omnibus one that sees him present in any troubled situation including emergency situations involving the government of Sir, Siminialaye Joseph Fubara.
PROFESSOR ZACHEAUS ADANGO
This former Lecturer of Law at the Rivers State University Nkpolu-Orowurokwo, Port Harcourt first got nominated into former Governor Wike’s cabinet as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice at the demise of Barrister Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma-SAN. The Andoni Local Government Area born legal scholar had displayed brilliance in most of the assignments he handled as Solicitor of Rivers State in most of the court cases involving Rivers State and others. His sound legal advice and accuracy in pre-empting certain legal implications in the handling of government businesses also earned him return as Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General into Sir, Siminialaye Fubara’s Government of New Rivers Consolidation.
INIME CHINWENWO AGUMA
She is the wife of late Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma who died as an executive cabinet member in the Government of Nyesom Wike haven served as lead Lawyer to Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Rivers State chapter during the struggle to wrestle political power from Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi the then incumbent Governor of Rivers State. This situation saw Brother Felix Obuah obtaining victory from Supreme Court of Nigeria as Chairman of Rivers State chapter prior to 2015 governorship election in Rivers State. Again, late Elder Emma Aguma, father of late Emmanuel Chinwnwo Aguma, was a prominent politician and Administrator of Port Harcourt.
Barrister Inime Aguma is the current National President of International Federation of Female Lawyers in Nigeria-FIDA as she served as Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation during Nyesom Wike’s administration, a position she retains now with Governor Siminialaye Fubara. Mrs. Inime Aguma is a Cancer Survivor who had spoken out about the dreaded Cancer mostly in public fora.
ISAAC KAMALU
This astute administrator is not new in holding public office as he was Finance Commissioner during the administration of Wike and happened to be favoured for selection in the NEW RIVERS CONSOLIDATION Team holding the same portfolio as Commissioner for Finance. He hails from Eleme Local Government Area and his loyalty to the leader of Peoples Democratic Party-PDP in Rivers State under Nyesom Wike is absolutely firing him on to give out his best in making Rivers State a better place for doing business and to live in.

The Ministry of Women Affairs has Dr. Roseline Adawari Uranta is coming in to manage the Womenfolk in Rivers State. Part of her schedules include to mobilize women and see to their inclusion in their participation in Rivers state development. She hails from Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area. Next is her being able to set up entrepreneurial training for rural women so as to provide them with alternatives to income and processing of their farm produce for commercial use instead of subsistence residual income most rural dwellers are known for.

AUSTEN BEN-CHIOMA
He was former Commissioner for Works in the Government of Nyesom Wike and now reappointed as Commissioner for Urban and Physical Planning. He once occupied that office before he was reassigned and now being part of Governor Siminialaye Fubara’s NEW RIVERS CONSOLIDATION Team, he is expected to build a cleaner Rivers State through renewed Urban and Physical Planning of the cities of Rivers State.
ALABO DAX GEORGE KELLY PHD
He came into the last administration first as a Special Adviser on Projects and later he was appointed by the then Governor Nyesom Wike as the Commissioner for Works. Immediately Sir, Siminialaye Fubara came into office Alabo Dax George Kelly was re-appointed as Commissioner for Works and he moved into doing what he loves doing most, having special eyes on projects as he earned Doctoral Degree recently with first degree in Quantity Surveying and Post graduate degrees in Estate management and Construction Engineering.

Born in Tai Local Government Area of Ogoni ethnic group extraction, Dr. Jacobson Nbina has been a very successful administrator who was twice elected as Chairman of Tai Local Government Area. Twice now as a serving Commissioner, first he was Commissioner for Transportation in the immediate past administration, now reappointed as Commissioner for Transportation in Sir, Siminialaye Joseph Fubara’s government.
UCHE NWAFOR
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is now having Uchechukwu Nwafor as the Commissioner. He is a first time Commissioner in the N.E.W RIVERS Government of Wike and later reappointed by Governor Siminialaye Fubara. He was born on the first of August 1978 at Port Harcourt. Uchechukwu Nwafor was first appointed as Personal Assistant P.A to George Tolofari the then Commissioner for Transportation in 2008. Later he was appointed as Caretaker Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area of Rivers State in May, 2011. Uche Nwafor also served as Council Secretary of Omuma LGA from June 2011 to May 2014.
The N.E.W RIVERS VISION administration of Wike appointed him as Governor’s Liaison Officer from 2018 to 2019. He has been a loyal PDP member.
PROF. PRINCE CHINEDU MMOM
He is returning to the Ministry of Education where he was during the administration of Nyesom Wike. Professor Prince Chinedu Mmom hails from Omuanwa town in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State. This is his second term in office as Commissioner for Education. Sir, Siminialaye Fubara returned him as Commissioner for Education. Before his appointment he was Professor of Geography and Environmental Management at University of Port Harcourt Rivers State.

The first daughter of Dr. Peter Odili and current Commissioner for Health in this political dispensation Dr. (Mrs.) Adaeze Odili-Oreh is a scholar whose contributions in the development of health institutions in Nigeria has been very audacious. Haven graduated from University of Nigeria Enugu Campus with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery MBBS and with post graduate degrees from Imperial College London where she earned Masters Degrees in International Health Management, she specialized in Global Health System, Healthcare Strategy, Healthcare Financing, Organizational Management, Health Informatics and Innovation.
Dr. (Mrs.) Adaeze Odili-Oreh before her appointment as Commissioner for Health has been a Senior Medical officer at the Department of Health Services Federal Ministry of Health at Abuja. She is a mother of two children.
CHRISTOPHER GREEN
This Lawyer Barrister Christopher Green has been associated with Sports administration in Rivers State as he was Commissioner For Sports during former Governor Wike’s administration. Now he is among the returning Commissioners to serve in the administration of Sir, Simninalaye Fubara as Sports Commissioner.
- HENRY OGIRI
He was a member of Rivers State House of Assembly representing Abua/Odual Sttae Constituency while Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly. Henry Ogiri later was appointed as a member of Niger Delta Development Commission-NDDC where he served as Director of Finance. This is his first time of being appointed as Commissioner under Governor Siminialaye Fubara.
