The race to succeed Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is intensifying by the day, with many politicians expressing interest in the top position. The governor has made it clear to anyone who cares to listen that the Politics in Oyo State is not about “Emilokan,”. And that the person who will take over will be determined by the people of Oyo State.
Recent reports indicate that those close to the corridors of power in Oyo State favor Amofin Beulah Adeoye, as Governor Makinde’s potential successor. This speculation arises from their close relationship, although they are often seen apart in public. Amofin Adeoye has referred to Governor Makinde as both a brother and friend. In a video, he praised the governor as his mentor and labeled him the best governor in the Southwest.
“When I became actively involved in Oyo politics, that was when Governor Makinde assumed office, and the kind of change we have witnessed is unlike any previous politics we’ve experienced. In my opinion, the best governor we’ve had in recent years in Oyo State is Seyi Makinde,” he stated.
He further emphasized, “He is someone I have spent time with, and he has a profound heartfelt love for his people. His involvement in politics has truly inspired me.”

The Oke-Ogun chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has endorsed Amofin Beulah Adeoye as a candidate for the next governor of the state. Additionally, during one of his visits to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abodunrin Kofoworola, PhD, FCS, Olakanla II, the Aare of Ago-Are Land, the Kabiesi also endorsed him and offered prayers for his success. During this visit, he traveled to Ofiki Land to pay homage to the Aare of Ofiki and seek his prayers and support for community collaboration.

Amofin Beulah Adeoye has diligently pursued professional certifications, obtaining credentials such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has also participated in various advanced business leadership courses and workshops from renowned institutions like Deloitte University and the Gordon Institute of Business Science, further enhancing his expertise in law, finance, and leadership.

He has served as the President of the All Nigeria United Nations Student & Youth Association (ANUNSA) and led the Royal Ambassadors Organization in Ibadan, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities. As the President and Co-Founder of the Bowels of Mercy Charity Organization, he spearheaded initiatives aimed at positively impacting the lives of the less fortunate.
Amofin Beulah Adeoye’s career has been illustrious, including roles at prestigious firms like KPMG Professional Services and EY. In August 2024, he resigned as a Financial Advisory Partner at Deloitte after achieving significant accomplishments and contributions, where he led forensic services across West Africa, leaving a lasting mark on the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Amofin Beulah Adeoye is a true humanitarian at heart. As the founder of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, he tirelessly works to uplift communities, support education, and assist the less fortunate.

Amofin Adeoye is a forensic expert from Ipapo with extensive experience in business, finance, and leadership. He has been a co-founder and director of leading multinational companies across various sectors, including Financial Services, Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Logistics, Real Estate, and Communication in Europe, Asia, the USA, and Nigeria. He continues to serve on the boards of some of these companies.
One of his notable contributions is the establishment of the Progressive Advancement Centre for Entrepreneurship (PACE), which has empowered over 20,000 women in Oyo State and provided COVID relief to vulnerable women. He also founded the Beulah Fund, which supports teachers, civil servants, law enforcement personnel, students, and retirees.
Beulah Adeoye has paid school fees for approximately 300 students at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). He chaired the committee that oversaw the sole ownership of LAUTECH by Oyo State, following a mutual agreement between Oyo State and Osun State. Additionally, he sponsored the Ibadan Tech Expo 2.0, distributing 10 laptops, cash prizes, and other gifts.
The Beulah Adeoye Foundation has been involved in various empowerment initiatives for youths in Oyo State, providing support during the unfortunate Bodija Inferno and currently establishing a food bank for students and market vendors in Ibadan. Through the Beulah Fund, over 2,000 women have been empowered, and there are plans to extend support to pensioners, teachers, and civil servants in Oyo State.
Furthermore, Beulah Adeoye has paid for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for 1,500 students and has partnered with organizations like Rotaract and AIESEC. A lover of sports, he donated table tennis and football facilities to promote sports and skill acquisition in the Egbeda local government area of Oyo State.
