Lagos has recently witnessed the birth of many female society caucuses that have been rocking the Lagos Social Scene. Of course, seeing celebrity women forming different caucuses is not new. It dates back many years when some of them even gave their caucuses different names.
There is no party like a Lagos Party and that is because Lagos celebrity women and babes always attend parties with their Cliques fondly called Caucuses. Some go as far as not just wearing Aso-Ebi but frill their fabric with similar jewellery. Even when Aso-Ebi is not picked, they will wear the same attire.Â
One thing you are sure of about these sets of celeb friends is that they have over time literally become Siamese twins as people usually ask them, “where is your other friend? Especially if they are seen without the other friend. Â
The celebrity caucuses have buttressed that popular Yoruba adage that says “Karin, Kapo, yiye loyeni“(a group in an outing attracts adoration and awe).
Though some society matriarch’s caucuses have stood the test of time, but sometime members have had cause to change their caucus these days. The likes of Mrs Nta Lijadu and Mercy Adeyinka, Ita Giwa and Sisi Abbah, Ruth Osime, Mo Abudu, Pat Faniran, Vivian Chiologi, Bff Boss, Ndidi Obioha and Kubara, Dupe Lawale and Enitan Akerele to mention few have made their caucuses subject of discussion as many of them have been absorbed by the trend in their group by wearing same attire, and sometimes rocking the same jewellery at Lagos owambe.
Twosome celebrity friends who attend parties together is Mike Adenuga’s best Cousin, Funmi Osunsade and her long-time friend, Lara Ajanaku. Though they are selective of the party they attend, these celebrity friends always spot the same attire whenever they attend high-octane parties in Lagos.

In the last few months, Sisi Joko as she is fondly called used to be in the company of Mrs Toyin Edun, but she has changed her caucus since her friend relocated abroad. Though, selective Titi enjoys the company of Lagos big babe, Tope George-Taylor, who is the CEO of Lush Jewellery. Ebony Tope and Titi have come a long way. Though, Keji Atoyegbe and Alhaja Shine Shine have been friends for over 15years, but Alhaja Ajaid Lawa who is younger than them has also joined their clique.

Not until recently when Lola Fine face, the CEO of Makandray fashion posted the picture of herself and her best friend, Folasade Bencash and Tade Ayeni, that many knew that they are that close. They have been friends for over 10years and still counting. They are always in each other’s company making high fashion statements. They sometimes rock the same attire but spice it with different jewellery.Â
Mrs Doyin Akinrinola, the young pretty brain behind Doyinsweet fabrics also has a small clique of friends. She is always in the company of Bisban Jewelry boss who has been her friend for many years. They were both sighted at Olu-Itori event a few days ago rocking the same fabric.
