Have you driven round some of the major streets of Ikoyi, Victoria Island Annex, Lekki & Banana Island of late? If you have, you must have noticed all the highrises & Skyscrapers springing up on these major streets. In fact, if you take a look at the Skyline of these major areas, you will see some of these new Skyscrapers shooting up. You can’t miss them.
In Ikoyi, for instance, just drive through, Kingsway Road, Alexander and Bourdillon and you will see all the mega projects going on there right now.
Go to Banana Island and you will see all the Skyscrapers that will hit you both left and right, as you drive into that billionaire estate. At the Victoria Island Annex, go to Okunde Blue Water Zone area, Oniru Estate, Water Corporation road and see all those tall and gigantic structures.
If you go to Lekki area, from Lekki Phase 1, right to VGC, on that busy Lekki-Epe Expressway, if you look left and right you will see several new highrises springing up in the skyline. There is also massive real estate development going on in these areas, especially around the new waterfront between Lekki Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Some are official apartments, while others are residential.
City People visited all these sites recently and we were shocked at the pace & level of development going on there.
Have you also noticed that all the gigantic electronic Billboards in all these areas now run plenty adverts & promo of these new Skyscrapers? Check out the electronic billboard at the Lekki Toll Gate. There is the promo of Ice Towers at Banana Island. They are 4-bedroom super luxury maisonettes. There is also the advert of Iconia Heights by Horizon Estates which is currently offering a 3-Bedroom Apartment + Boys Quarters, at Off Admiralty Way, in Lekki Phase 1 with N14.99 million initial deposit or Pay N39.00 million (move-in-deposit).
There is also another property development company currently offering a 3-BedroomApartment+Boys Quarter, on Banana Island, Ikoyi for N49.99m initial deposit. There are others like Acacia Heights at Osborne Ikoyi and Pearl Waterfront, on Corporation Avenue going for N99.9 million. There is another real estate company that prides itself in offering what it calls The pinnacle of Luxury on Banana Island Skyland. It is a 3 bedroom+Boys Quarters going for N49,99 million.
There is also Rivande Apartments going for N49.9 million at initial deposit for a 3-bedroom apartment. There is another 3 bedroom apartment on Orchid Road, Lekki. As you read this, there is a Skyscrapper under construction owned by Mrs. Folorunso Alakija, on Kingsway Road meant for Office Development. It runs into several floors of office space. The main contractor is Julius Berger. It is being built for Day Spring Property Company Ltd.
There are also other Skyscrapers in Ikoyi. There is Skyvilla. There is Luxuria by The Address Homes. There is The Belmonte and The Vailze Bourdillon. There is GMH Luxury. There are about 4 Skyscrapers on Bourdillon road alone in Ikoyi. There is one striking highrise on the intersection between Oniru Street Junction and Bourdillon. There is another one at the intersection between Thompson Avenue & Bourdillon. There is Sisi Paris also on Bourdillon, in Ikoyi.
