The Government and people of Ogun State have been congratulated on the official approval and confirmation of four new traditional rulers by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Executive Governor of Ogun State, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

 

In a significant move aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the state, the State Executive Council confirmed the following traditional leadership appointments:

 

  1. Odemo of Isara Remo, Remo North Local Government Area
  1. Olu of Odeda, Odeda Local Government Area
  1. Olu of Mowe, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area
  1. ⁠Oludotun of Idotun, Ikenne Local Government Area
