The brand, which officially made its debut in June 16; 2021, is focused on creating stylish yet comfortable outfits that appeal to lovers of traditional African textiles such as Ankara, Aso-Oke and Adire, reimagined with modern cuts and youthful flair.
According to the founder, SlayWithComfort was created to bridge the gap between elegance and everyday wear, allowing individuals to express confidence without compromising comfort.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the brand, Ms. Ogundipe said her designs are influenced by African culture, bold colours and the desire to make Afro-fabrics more versatile for both casual and semi-formal occasions. She noted that the collections are tailored to suit different body types while maintaining quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
