Oyo SDP Endorses PDP Governorship Candidate, Eng. Seyi MAKINDE

The Social Democratic Party on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 endorsed the candidature of the People’s Democratic Party candidate Seyi Makinde for the March 9, gubernatorial elections in Oyo

The decision was taken at a meeting of the party’s Executive Council held in Oyo. According to the party’s National Chairman, the decision was taken after full consultation with the National Leadership of SDP.

It reads;

The National Leadership of the Social Democratic Party hereby endorses the decision of the Oyo State Chapter and its Gubernatorial Candidate Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN OFR to step down and support the Candidate of the PDP.

The decision was taken after full consultation with the National Leadership of SDP. We urge our members all over Oyo State to abide fully with this decision and encourage the good people of Oyo State to take their destiny in their hands by voting the adopted candidate Seyi MAKINDE as the Governor of Oyo State.

We also urge our members to fully support our SDP House of Assembly candidates in the election in order to ensure their victory on  the 9th March 2019 Elections.
