PDP presidential aspirant, Dr Gbenga Hashim, has paid a solidarity visit to the Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi), as part of ongoing consultations aimed at strengthening unity within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The visit, which took place on Tuesday night, was held in the company of Senator Zainab Kure, widow of the late former Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Abdulkadir Kure.

During the meeting, Dr Hashim conveyed his respect and solidarity to Governor Mohammed for his steadfast commitment to the ideals of multiparty democracy, even in the face of persecution.

He said discussions focused on the urgent need for unity, reconciliation and collective resolve among party leaders and stakeholders in rebuilding the PDP for a stronger and more competitive future.

The meeting later expanded as the party’s Deputy National Chairman, the Bauchi State PDP Chairman, and some aides of the governor joined for a group photograph.

Dr Hashim reaffirmed his commitment to supporting efforts aimed at repositioning the PDP through unity, discipline and purposeful leadership.
