Primate Ayodele Elijah needs no introduction. He is perhaps right now the most publicised, most talked about man of God in the country. And he is quite popular for a number of reasons. Not only is he widely regarded as the number one prophet when it comes to consistently churning out mind boggling prophecies, he is also known to be fearless. He speaks truth to power. Anyone who knows Primate Ayodele closely will tell you that he is always wary about befriending those in power for the simple reason that it earns him the right to call them out and admonish them whenever they step out of line.
Several weeks before the presidential and governorship elections and even after the elections, this widely respected man of God released several prophecies, many of which have already come to pass. And he is still dropping more prophecies. He stands by his prophecies and will never deny what he said. A lot of times though, some of his prophecies have been misinterpreted. But the extremely focused Primate Ayodele will tell you he cannot be held responsible for people’s inability to understand and interprete his prophecies correctly. He owes no one no apologies for that.
Last week, City People’s Senior Editor, WALE LAWAL (08037209290) had an engaging chat with the founder and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church, Primate Ayodele. In his usual characteristic manner, he spoke largely about politics. It is very evident that the man is intensely passionate about Nigeria and wants nothing but the best for the country. Enjoiy excerpts of the interview.
Your prophecies have been trending both on the social media and in the newspapers, especially your prophecies concerning the 2023 prersidential elections in which you said that if Tinubu wins there will be protests and we have been seeing series of protests in the past few weeks. Then I also recall that you stood vehemently against the Muslim-Muslim ticket, that God did not approve it. Are you still saying that God did not approve of this ticket?
Oh, yes, the answer remains yes! I have not heard anything contrary from God so the answer is still yes!
So, now that we have a Muslim-Muslim President-elect and deputy, what will happen now?
Well, after the inauguration, if the Lord says something different I will let you know. But as it is right now, Muslim-Muslim ticket will cause damage to this country.
Okay, siir, we will be waiting for your comments after the inauguration. May I also remind you that you mentioned some state governors that will lose their elections, you also talked about the G-5, do you think the G-5 will still be active and what is the future of the PDP?
Well, the G-5 has come to fail, there is nothing like G-5 anymore, they are gone. Those who were part of the G-5 will still break and disintegrate further and will be embarrassed politically.
Sir, but what is the future of the PDP and the G-5?
Well, another new group of politicians will try to restructure the PDP. The PDP will still remain and will try to fight for relevance.
I also recall you said that Ayu will be removed and he has been removed as the PDP national chairman, what should be the focus of PDP now?
The focus is simple, the PDP should focus on the court matter, but there is a warning here and they should take this very seriously, if the PDP does not do the needful, the whole thing can bommerang on them. Let me be honest with you, both Atiku and Peter Obi are not doing all that is necessary and needful for them to achieve their desired objectives. What they need to do is to seek the face of God properly and commit everything onto his hands but they are clearly not doing that. As it is now, they still have to strategise very well for them to be able to win.
And let me say this and say it very clearly, Obi is not in this calculation at all. He cannot win at the court and they cannot give him the presidency. He should forget about becominmg president for now. In my own opinion, the election was not credible. The people that ought to make it credible did not take the right steps to make it credible. There will also be division among the judges. Some will be in support of the judgement while several others will not. The truth is that the court can do a lot if Atiku and Obi take the right steps, they can do a lot.
Can you share with us what the future holds for APC, sir?
There will be cracks in the APC. The party will be plagued by so many issues and Adamu will be removed.
What about the clamour for an interim government by some people?
Well, I have not seen any pronouncement for interim government taking place, I have not seen any in this regard. Whoever that wins will be sworn in on the 29th of May. Nothing will stop the handing over and President Buhari is not ready to disappoint Nigerians by refusing to hand over. He is willing and ready to leave on the 29th, Buhari is not ready for any interim government.
Talking about the Tribunal, sir, do you see sincerity among the judges as regards the petition by Obi and Atiku contesting the outcome of the presidential results?
Well, any judge that does not do the right according to the Law, any judge who tries to change the course of justice will see the wrath of God. Anyway, the Tribunal will shock so many people, and same with the Supreme court, it will shock a lot of people.
Apart from the Tribunal case, sir, do you see any other thing like chaos, anarchy stopping May 29 inauguration from holding?
Yes, there will be protests in some places, but that will not stop whoever has been declared as the winner from being sworn in. As it is now, nobody can stop it, only God has the power to stop it.
So, what is the future of Peter Obi and his Obidient movement?
They cannot go beyond where they are now. I am not seeing Obi in Aso Rock. I have not seen that happening.
Let me ask you this question, sir. Many have said that sometimes, you speak in favour of Labour Party, at other times you speak in favour of PDP. Sometimes too, you speak in favour of APC, now people say perhaps you get money from these people, what do you say to this?
You know, they are only humans, and humans are known to be selfish in their ways and in their thinking. If they say any party has given me money, let such party come forward with the evidence of the money given to me. The truth is that I don’t belong to any party, whether it is PDP, APC or the Labour Party. If I was in PDP, I will not say anything wrong about them. I stand alone. Whatever I see is what I say. No governor can come out and say he gives me money on monthly basis. And that is one of the reasons why I declined joining CAN. I am not a friend to any political party or associate to any politician.
What do you say about the ongoing tussle by senators for the Senate President’s position?
Okay, this is what I have to say about that question, if Orji Uzor Kalu loses his Senate President bid, I am afraid there is no other person that can do it like him. If he loses it, its might be a Muslim affair again, so what are we talking about? And let me also sound this note of warning too, if care is not taken, a Muslim Speaker will also emerge. So, this issue of Muslim-Muslim ticket is something we have to be very careful about because it can cause serious harm to our progress and unity. And if the other parties are organised and serious, they can present their own candidates and their candidates can emerge Speaker or Senate President.
Oftentimes, we find many prophets making their prophecies in parables, but you do not deal in parables, you go straight to the point. If somebody will be removed from office, you will say it clearly that he will be removed, what is the source of your own power when it comes to prophecies?
For me, I have been in the prophetic ministry for a very long time and we understand what it is. It’s a gift. God speaks to us directly not in parables. It was only Jesus that spoke to in parables because of the ancient understanding of those days. If they ask you, for instance, will Nigeria win the war, yes or no, you say yes, or you say no. Not that you start speaking in parables. It does not make any point, you need to hit the nail on the head. For me, I want to say things the way God wants me say it, I don’t want to be part of the people that want to be speaking in parables, parables that they lack the undertanding to explain. That is why you see in many of my prophecies, I will explain in details. I will tell you what is going to happen what will not happen and what to expect. I know there is economic hardship, I know that petrol price will be increased, I know that the issue of insecurity will be there, I know there will be division within the APC ranks and so many more, but we have to wait and see.
As I said before, its not all the governors that will finish their terms. PDP won Kaduna, not Uba Sani of the APC, so if the PDP man goes to court he will definitely succeed. Like Abia state, anybody who takes Alex Otti of the Labour Party to court is wasting his money. Same with Akwa Ibom, anybody who takes Umo Eno of the PDP to court is also wasting his money. In Lagos, anybody who takes Sanwo-Olu to court is wasting his money. But Ogun state is shaking terribly. Honestly, PDP can still take back Ogun state. For Jigawa, if the PDP man strategises properly he can claim his mandate. Same with Enugu, the man who came second can still claim back his mandate.
I want to ask you, sir, is it right for a man of God to stand on the pulpit and be campaigning for a particular candidate and be asking the congregation to vote for his preffered candidate?
No, a prophet or man of God must remain behind the scene. But what I think happened during the last election was that even the pastors were tired of the ruling party, to be sincere. Many of them too wanted a change of government. And if you ask me, did the ruling party win the election? From my own position, they did not win. When I said back then that that the Emilokan mantra is spiritual, many people thought I was joking. I told them Emilokan is the spiritual declaration of a desperate man, but many did not listen to me. So, the pastors were also tired of the ruling party. They were tired of the hardship. Pastors can go before God and stand before the altar of the Lord to ask Him to give us a good leader.
Okay, sir, let us go a bit internation now, lets talk about the Donald Trump indictment, I can remember that even as far back as when he was in government, you talked about this indictment and it has come to pass now, so whats the future of Donald Trump?
Donald Trump is in very serious problem that can totally ruin his political future. As it is now, if the party presents Donald Trump next elections, they will lose. So, the point is, Donald Trump is digging his grave. And let me say this, the American government will be hit by serious crisis, you can call it democracy crisis. This is when you will see political tension which never existed in America begin to manifest.
May I also remind you that you said some third world leaders will be coming to Africa, what exactly do you mean by this?
Well, what I mean is that these people coming like Russia, China, America, coming to Africa, the whole idea is to enslave Africa and use Africa for their own selfish political purposes and if you accept them, they will cause problems for African leaders. So, areas where trhey are going to, like Ghana, is to woo them for the wrong things. They also plan to use Africa to fight Africa for therir own selfish reasons, that’s why China, America, Russia are inflitrating Africa. Africa must be careful so that they will not be enslaved. They want to use Africa to achieve their dirty games.
