The Burial Party For Oloworo Of Oworo,Bashiru Oloruntoyin Shuts Down Oworonshoki

On Sunday, 24th, October, 2021 dignitaries stormed Oworonshoki community en-mass for the final after burial ceremony of its late traditional ruler, HRM Oba Bashiru Oloruntoyin Saliu, the Oloworo of Oworo.

The late Oloworo joined his ancestors on August 30th, 2021. 8 days later, family and the entire kindom did a fidau prayer in honour of the soul of the king who was loved by his people during his life time.
It was indeed a great outing.
This love was hugely showed as the people of the kingdom trooped out in their huge numbers to the palace of the Oloworo to participate in bidding farewell to the depart soul of the great king. It was a grand ceremony which became the talk of town, following how prominent personalities turned in as guests, at the party. The presence of security personnel made everyone feel at home as they ensured the ceremony was done under a serene atmosphere.
The Oba-elect of the Kingdom, HRM Oba Nurudeen Olalekan Alani, The Oloworo II was busy throughout the ceremony as he received quite a number of guests, Amongst the notable ones are HRM Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom; HRM Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom in Epe; two significant white cap chiefs from the Olowo Eko, HRM Oba Riliwan Akinolu APC chieftains, and dignitaries from far and wide.

Other children of the late king gave their respective guests a worthwhile reception. The large palace premises was filled to the brim, as the gate was thrown opened to accommodate guests and people of the community.Musiliu,the
son of the late Apala Music icon, Alhaji Haruna Ishola was the muscian of the day, as he and his entire band took the stage by storm. They performed back- to- back for over 5 hours, cheering the Oloworos and their guests up.
The dance floor went agog as the Oba-Elect; HRM Oba Nurudeen Olalekan Alani stormed the dance floor with other royal fathers at the event.
They also put on their dancing shoes, displaying different dance steps which went in accordance to the flow of music played by Alhaji Haruna Ishola and his band. The dance floor was also graced by top chiefs in the Oworo Kingdom, as the likes of the high chief, Araba of Oworo really pulled great stunts on stage.

A greater stunt was pulled when Princess Adunni Oloworo hit the dance floor in company of the Oba-elect and the Princes of Oworo Kindom. They include Prince Kabiru Adesegun, Kekeniju; Prince Taiwo, the Alase of Oworo; Hon. Prince Kehinde, Otun Alase of Oworo; Prince Farid Adedayo; and Prince Notik Saliu, The Balogun of Oworonshoki.
All dressed in elegant pure white outfits, they did justice to the classical music dished out at the party, digging the dance steps in style.
It was later the turn of Princess Adunni and friends who rocked the party for the rest of the evening. They stepped up in their number to brighten up the event with their highly fashionable outfits sown from the Ankara Aso Ebi for the event. Their presence at the event and dance steps on the dance floor was top notch ,as they gave the event and people around moments to savour.

The entire people of Oworo kingdom also had a fair share of the Glitz and Glamour at the event. They were availed the opportunity to wine and dine with the Oloworos.
Notable caterers that took care of the huge guests at the epoch event are Ademoj Catering Service, 8.22 Catering Service (small chops), Luscious cocktail among others. The input of Blizze Event Décor didn’t go unnoticed at the event which was anchored by the duo of MC Temitope Ojo aka Mr. Jawonsi and MC Adebayo Kokumo. The MCs added lot of spices that make the event great.
