Life can be a bit difficult to navigate sometimes. For many, it has been one hell of a task. But still, making a success of life remains everyone’s dream. Those who have a clear idea of what they want in life and how they want to go about it set out ways to accomplish their goals. Sometimes, things work out the way we want, sometimes they don’t. But what many do not realize is that, often times, the type of people that surround you can determine how successful you will become in life. But it is a different thing entirely if you have around you those that despise you, enemies that want nothing but failure and humiliation for you. Worse still, you may mistakenly fall into traps of spiritual attacks you probably got yourself into unknowingly. If you have such problems plaguing your life, then you have to be very careful and watchful. You must be prepared for any spiritual or physical onslaught from these kinds of people. Pastor Olukoya, the MFM General Overseer, from one of his numerous online posts, has identified the different types of people, about 18 of them, that every Christian must run away from if they truly desire to make a meaningful success out of their life. These are people every Christian must be wary of, if you let them into your life and let down your guard, then you do so at your own peril. Read the text below and know who these set of dreadful friends are.
The first set of bad friends you should keep away from is The Fox. A lot of Christians have these kind of friends around them. They always tell lies and can’t be trusted. They come to you with stories, all kinds of stories that have been twisted either to make them look like a good friend to you or designed to run another friend down before you, just so they can gain some favours. You cannot afford to trust this one, he will come back to haunt you.
The next one is The Serpent. This one is an extremely dangerous kind of friend. Just like the name connotes, the serpent has a way of striking fast at its victims before you can even think of a way of dealing with it. These set of people betray you when you least expect and when it suits them. They do not genuinely care about you, the minute you’re faced with a dire situation and you need them to come through for you, they will deny you and wealk away.
Another type of terrible friend every Christian must keep awat from is The Horse. This is a dangerous type of friend that cannot do you any good to have around you. These sets of people are super jealous of your progress. They hate your success. But when they are with you, they pretend they are happy for you. Don’t be fooled, deep inside them, all they truly want to see is to watch you fail and suffer huge set backs in your career, business, endeavour, etc. When yu have a friend that secretly despises you because of your success or progress in life, then you should know you need to watch ypur back with prayers.
Everybody has one little secret or the other that they sometimes share with close friends. But its not every friend you share your secrtes with. Not this type of friend called The Spider. These are another type of dangerous group of people who spread your secrets around and then expose you to all sorts of spiritual attacks. You do not need friends like this around you if you desire to succeed in life.
The Crocodile is another kind of friend you must not allow into your life as a Christian. They are the draining people. They like chaos. They like it when you are in trouble. They celebrate your misfortune and pretend they care about your well being. No body deserves to have this kind of friend around them, they will always bring you nothing but pain and sorrow.
Have you heard of the type of friend called The Mosquito? They are a terrible breed of friends. They come around you when they are in need. They don’t care about you but after what they want to get from you. For them, life is simply a one way transactional street, they collect everything they can from you and give nothing back in return. And once they see tht yu have nothing else to offer them, they move on to the next person.
Another terrible friend you cannot afford to have around you is The Bat. They are fake supporters. They smile with you at your face and show another colour when they leave your sight. There are so many friends like that around us, but often times, we are too blinded by the fake display of affection they show us that we fail to see through their deceit and mischief.
This one is perhaps the most dangerous. The Chameleon is a very slimy friend to have. They are neither here or there. They can be friendly and at the same time unfriendly. And they can hurt you very badly if you let them catch you off guard. The chameleon is a very dangerous friend to have close to you, they should be kept very, very far away.
The Bull is another bad friend that can stop you from achieving your desired goals in life. The Bull type of friend never tries to support you, instead, it will always come to drain your energy. They complain at all times. They are never satisfied with whatever you give them, they always want more. The Bull never wants what is good for you, it is always looking out for itself.
This next one is known as The Chimpazee. They are the manipulators. They twist everything just to control you. They chase good people away from you by saying evil things about them. The whole idea is to stop people who can elevate you in life from getting close to you. They want to see you remain stagnant in life, not elevated.
Run away from The Monkey. These kinds of friends are the hypocrites. They preach one thing and do another thing. They never mean well for you. They never want to see you succeed in life. They are great pretenders and they are very good at making people believe they genuinely like them. But beware, they don’t!
One of the worst friends to have is The Wolf. The Wolf is often easy to identify because it never tries to mask its true feelings. They are the disrespectful ones. They don’t have regards for your feelings. How you’re feeling is of no significance to them, all they think of is themselves.
The Gorilla friend is the next one. This one is very close to the monkey in character. The Gorilla is big and strong. They look as if they can support you but they cannot be trusted to stay around. They are fair weather friends.
The next of type of friend you should run away from is The Sloth. They are the lazy ones. They expect you to do everything for them and they do not expect you to bring anything to the table themselves. They can live their lives entirely on you and do not mind the fact that they may have become a huge burden on you, draining your finnces and not giving a hoot what happens to you afterwards.
Everyone must run away from The dog. They don’t take responsibility. They run away from responsibilities and push it to others. They always blame others. The moment something goes wrong due to their carelessness or recklessness, they quickly shift the blame to the next person. They are utterly unreliable.
From the name, you might think a friend that falls under the category of The Lion will connote strength and stability, but that’s not the case. T hey are the reckless ones. They are the irresponsible one. They simply have no sense of loyalty and commitment. They can’t ever offer any significant value as a friend.
The Parrot is next. From their name, you can tell what their biggest flaw would be – yes, they talk too much. They are always talking. Whether they are making sense to others or not, they do not mind, they just want to keep talking and distracting everyone around them.
Last but not the least is The Pigeon. The problen with this kind of friend is that they don’t respect Boundaries. They do not understand when not to push beyond their boundaries. They show little respect for others and then get them into all kinds of troubles. That’s why they are not gooed enough to have as friends.
