Tiwa Savage, after creating the hit song, ‘Lova Lova,’ with the king of collaboration, Duncan Mighty, and launching a fashion line for her UK tour, has broken a new record.
The Mavin record artiste has become the first African female artiste to headline a show at the prestigious Indigo at the O2 Arena in London, UK, selling out the 3,000 capacity hall.
The concert, which is the official kickoff of her “The Savage Tour” is the singer’s first concert in the UK, sold out hours before the show and as promised, she gave her excited fans more than a show.
The singer performed alongside other record label mates, like Korede Bello, Don Jazzy and Dr Sid.
The night also witnessed performances from artistes like legendary Congolese singer, Awilo Logomba, Alternate Sound Band, Wstrn and Mystro.
The singer in an Instagram post appreciated London for the love shown to her and in her words;
“We did it, SOLD OUT by His grace. London will forever LOVE you”
We look forward to the schedule for other countries, after she officially began the tour on August 24, 2018.
