With over 34 years of exemplary service, Hajiah Ajeigbe, FAAN’s General Manager of Audit, leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, dedication, and excellence.

A Career Marked by Excellence
Hajiah Fauziat Abiodun Ajeigbe’s professional journey is one of dedication and outstanding achievement:
Born on February 26 in Sokoto State to Alhaji and Alhaja Kola Olagunju, she hails from Offa, Kwara State. She ttended Offa Grammar School and completed her ‘A’ Levels at Kwara State Polytechnic before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1989. She completed her NYSC program at the Central Bank of Nigeria in Jos, Plateau State (1989-1990). Hajia Ajeigbe oined the Nigeria Airports Authority (NAA) in 1990 as Personnel Officer II, later transitioning to the Internal Audit Department in 1991 after which she served in various capacities across multiple locations, including Lagos, Abuja, and Kano. Her tenure was marked by the implementation of robust internal control systems that led to cost reduction and revenue maximization.Her rise through the ranks culminated in her appointment as FAAN’s General Manger of Audit in 2017. She has been a proud member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) since 2016; she was conferred with a fellowship (FCNA) in 2023. Hajia Ajeigbe attended numerous local and international courses on risk management, fraud detection, and control. She served on critical committees, including the revenue task force, anti-corruption team, and disciplinary committee. Her dedication to work earned her accolades, including: Distinguished Merit Award from Rotary Club of Ilorin GRA, Award of Professional Excellence from Rotary Club of Ikeja Airport and others.
