WHY GOVT. SHOULD SUPPORT MIKE ADENUGA’S GLO –PRIMATE AYODELE

by Reporter

The leader and founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele Elijah, has called on the federal government to support Nigeria’s only indigenous telecommunications company, GLO. He stated that in other parts of the world, the likes of Otunba Mike Adenuga, who has taken the bold step to invest in the Nigerian economy are often celebrated and encouraged to do more.

It will be recalled that the enigmatic prophet, in his recently released 2022 prophecies, prophesied that GLO will experience unprecedented success and expansion within the next two years. He also added that the company will overcome whatever ugly situation it is facing, maintaining that it will become number one in Africa. Hear him: “In 2 years from now, GLO will be everywhere and will entrench itself as the leading indigenous telecommunication outfit in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The telecommunication giants will override its contemporaries and break boundaries. Glo will have further expansion in 2022 and penetrate the rural areas further than they have done. The company will overcome all the challenges that may come their way and go on to acquire new devices and latest technology to make their services far better than the others. I see their tentacles spreading further in the coming year. GLO will record a large expansion more than it can ever imagine.”

But the highly respected Primate believes that the government still needs to support the telecommunications giants to enable them to make Nigeria proud and continue in its unwavering desire to take thousands of unemployed Nigerian youths off the streets by embarking on massive expansions that will offer our unemployed graduates thousands of jobs. The government can provide the enabling environment for GLO to achieve all of these by coming up with business-friendly policies that will encourage more investments and expansions and ease the burden of running a humongous business like telecommunications in a struggling economy like ours.

“GLO has lots of youth empowerment programmes that it does to empower the youths and it will need the support of government to do more in this regard by making the policies governing the telecommunications sector more flexible and friendly for business,” the man regarded as arguably the most popular prophet in the country said. He advised the government that it can only encourage more indigenous investors to come out and contribute their quota to the growth of the economy if it is seen to be supporting already existing ones like GLO telecommunications.
