Speaks on Her Divine Calling

In an age where many chase fame and fortune in conventional careers, some are drawn to deeper, more spiritual paths — not by ambition, but by calling. One such woman is Iyanifa Ifakorede Adeola, a former fashion entrepreneur who answered the spiritual call to heal, nurture, and guide people through traditional herbal and spiritual means.

In this exclusive chat, she shares the story behind the birth of Ase Eledumare Spiritual Herbal Centre, her unique approach to healing, and the powerful testimonies that have followed her journey.

Can we meet you, ma?

My name is Iyanifa Ifakorede Adeola. I was born in Ede, Osun State, but I am originally from Ikire, also in Osun State.
I am a graduate of Computer Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.

For how long have you been running Ase Eledumare Spiritual Herbal Centre?

I started the centre in 2021, so it’s been about four years now.

Tell us how you started and what made you venture into the business of healing people.

I was called, and I answered. Before this spiritual journey, I was deeply involved in the fashion and fabric business, but the signs became too strong to ignore.  I realized that I was meant to heal and help others. I am what they call an Agbomola — a spiritual seer and healer. I dream, I see visions, and I help people.  Still, I didn’t stop there — I went ahead to study herbs and roots more deeply to strengthen my calling.

What makes your centre unique and different from others?

My calling is divinely ordained and has always been unique. Even before I officially accepted this path, I had always hated seeing people unhappy — it stirred something deep in me. Also, exposure and learning set me apart. I don’t just rely on gifts; I also pursue knowledge to refine what I offer.

How and from whom did you acquire your knowledge of herbal healing?

All knowledge comes from God, first and foremost. But I also went further to study under professionals. I trained at Dr. Banire’s Centre for Herbal and Spiritual Research and Practice, where I deepened my understanding of traditional healing.

Can you share one or two of the most remarkable testimonies from people you’ve healed?

There are countless testimonies — even the ones that seem unbelievable. People have walked in with deep spiritual afflictions, and today they are whole, happy, and living life to the fullest. These testimonies encourage me every day.

What is the major challenge faced by those of you running herbal healing centres?

Like every other practice, we face challenges too. But with Eledumare (God), everything is possible. The key is being genuine, working with a pure heart, and letting the divine guide you. When your heart is clean, the results will speak for themselves.

There are many misconceptions about herbal medicine. Some say it’s not scientifically proven or that it causes side effects. What’s your take on this?

Most of the time, these issues come from misuse — especially overdosing. Herbal medicine has no side effects if you follow the right prescription and consult trained practitioners. Herbs are nature’s gift; we just need to understand how to use them properly.

Can you tell us something many people don’t know about your practice?

Apart from healing, I also do spiritual consultations. Many people come to me not just for herbs but to understand themselves, their paths, and their destinies better.

For those who want to visit or consult you, how can they reach you?

You can visit my temple at 28, Captain Akinmona Street, Aina Obembe Road, Baruwa Inside, Ipaja, Lagos.
