“Why many of clients who are society woman and rich woman come to me is  because I have rare jewllery because I take my time to redesign. It depends on the texture or the design of the jewellery. There are times, the kind of fabrics I am giving to my clients determine the kind of design I am going to do for my clients. Atimes, my clients will want me to handle the clothes, jewellery, shoe & bags and everything. There are some clients who will say I want it simple. Some will say make give me something wow, give me something unique. So, the fabrics always gives me the picture of my design for my Jewellery. Most times the design of the clothes will determine the kind of Jewellery I will make, life if I am making Jewellery for a revealing dress. It depends. Then, there are the owambe rockers. So far so good, I am on top of my game right now. And I am doing wonderfully well. I am doing pretty well. And my clients can go to any length to patronise me over, and over, over again.”

I provide fabrics that is not common. I now design my fabrics myself. I tell my producers how I want my fabrics to look like, the kind of colours. So far so good. I am on top of it. I am still working harder to give the best to my clients.”

We asked her to tell us about the very rare fabrics she stocks. “Yes. I stock rare fabrics. You know we Yorubas love owambe parties a lot. Atimes, when you invite people to your parties, people who are coming are not coming to your party because of food and drinks. Some are coming to just enjoy themselves because of music. Right now, the game has changed. When you invite people to your party, they want to come and check out your fabrics. And if you don’t have unique fabrics, you can’t shine. If you are celebrating anything, you need good fabric to shine at your event.”

“If you are the celebrant you can’t afford not to look good and stand out from your guest. You need a very unique colourful, bright fabric to look good. So, this makes me to stock wore unique fabrics in mys tore. We have some common ones too. We have some cheaper ones too. And we have the luxury fabrics ones too. That is why we named our place Fabric Palace. It means whenever you walk in you can see something unique, something you have never seen anywhere, from the Gele, Ipele to shoes and bags. All these things really work well for my fabric business. And it gives me more inspiration to design more wow fabrics.”
