Without a doubt, there are many prophets in the land. From the really genuine prophets to the not so genuine ones, the country has them in abundance. And it’s always difficult even for the extremely discerning minds to know the genuine from the counterfeit. But a few of them stand out from the rest. These are the consistently consistent ones that have stood the test of time. Come rain, come shine, whether things are rosy in the country or not, they are always there, as constant as the northern stars, giving spiritual guidance and direction where necessary. They churn out prophecies back to back, as directed by the spirit of God. One of such consistent prophets is the man of God called Primate Ayodele Elijah, the spiritual founder and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual church.
For those who may not know, Primate Ayodele has been around for close to three decades running now. Unlike today that we have so many prophets going into the ‘business of prophecy’ because of the fame it brings and the dubious manner these men can turn it into a money making venture, Primate Ayodele had been releasing prophecies long before it became popular. If truth be told, long before many of the so called prophets today left secondary school, Primate Ayodele had already started his prophetic ministry, releasing staggering prophecies that shook the nation.
There were only very few prophets who were also releasing powerful prophecies back then. These were some of the pioneers whom Primate Ayodele looked up to. Prophet T. O. Olabayo was one of those who Primate Ayodele admired and looked up to back then. Primate Rufus Ositelu, Godspower Oyewole, Dr. Gabriel Okunzia, are some of the great men that Primate Ayodele learned from and respected a great deal. These are the only people that can be called Primate Ayodele’s seniors. These were the men who called the shots back in the day and when they spoke Nigerians listened.
Primate Ayodele has created a niche for himself. He is in a class by himself. He does noy join the bandwagons. He does not go on social media to make empty noise like the other prophets who claim to see what God didnt show or tell them. His method is simple- if he does not hear from God, he will not speak. And unlike others, he does not wait for events to happen before he drops prophecies concerning them. He does not do permutations about events, which is what these other prophets do. For Primate Ayodele, long before the event happens, he sees it before it comes and releases the appropriate prophecies that come with it. He does not like it when his prophecies are lumped together with that of the bandwagon. He likes to stand alone. He is confident about his works. No matter the criticisms, he will stand by whatever he says and defend his prophecy.
Weeks ago, he dropped a prophecy in which he declared that Atiku is God’s choice for the presidency. With the manipulations by unscrupulous elements resulting in an election terribly flawed with irregularities, what we have now, according to Primate Ayodele, is the choice of man and not the choice of God. And he has warned that, if Tinubu is eventually sworn in as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, there will be untold hardship in the country.
He has defended his prophecy and defended it well. He says he has no apologies for what he said and will stand by it. What many do not realize is that he never said Atiku will win the elections. But he says he does not care how people want to twist his prophecy, he has said what the Lord asked him to say. Unlike other men of God who go and hide when critics condemn or verbally attack them over their prophecies, not the Primate, he will defend his prophecies every step of the way.
He fears no one. He says it as it is. He is not a friend to the politicians. He does not mingle with them. He tries to keep away from them and run his church and philanthropic activities without soliciting for their financial support. He makes no deal with them. He owes them nothing. So, this makes it very easy for him to say whatever he wants to say about any politician without giving a hoot whose ox is gored.
This is why this enigmatic man of God is extremely respected by many personalities in the country. He is different from the rest. He is bold. He is courageous. He fears no one but Cod. He will never change what he says and deny that he didnt say it. He will defend his prophecies to any length. But above all of these, those who know this great man whose popularity has continued to rise far beyond the shores of this country will tell you he is the kindest prophet they have ever known. His philanthropic works are legendary. His budgets on Empowerment of the needy are massive. Every single day he is forever putting smiles on the faces of people, even those he does not know. Many have wondered why other popular men of God like Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and others do not reach out consistently to the needy within and outside their church the way Primate Ayodele does.
Why would anyone not respect a man like that. No wonder his church is massively expanding. God is blessing him. His congregation, which also boasts of a large number of Igbos, has continued to rise at an astronomical rate. He is currently working on a massive church auditorium that will sit close to 50,000 members and he only just commissioned the church’s new administrative block, a beautiful white edifice.
We can only pray that God continues to raise men of God like Primate Ayodele who will remain forthright, courageous, sincere and kind even in the face of condemnation and adversity. The world will certainly be a better place with more men of God like him.
