The annual OYSOWA’s National Women’s Summit, kicks off on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Intl. Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, with a galaxy of Governors and wives of State Governors
According to Wife of the Governor of Oyo State & chairman, Oyo State Officials’ Wives Association (OYSOWA), Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi , the aim of the summit, which was the 6th edition, was to create women who would entertain no fear to go “where there is no path and leave a trail”.
She added that women must continue to etch their names in the annals of world history as achievers and trend setters.

She called on corporate organisations and civil society organisations to partner with OYSOWA for the empowerment of women in the state.
