ZL Global Alliance covers a large scope of offerings. Some of them are Solid Waste Management, Dumpsite/Landfill Management, Revenue Collection, Recycling and Material Recovery, Fleet Management, Waste Containerization, Vegetation Control, Decontamination/ Fumigation services, and Training services through the ZLGA College of Environmental Science and Technology Limited. Through ZLGA, she has developed quite a number of workable solutions in areas such as Electronic Payments, Waste Management, Digital Prints & Technology, Waste Recycling, Healthcare and Diagnostics, Youth Empowerment, Talent Management among others.
Asides ZL Global Alliance which is a multinational waste management organization with subsidiaries in countries like the United States, Dubai (ZL Global Alliance LLC FZe Dubai), she is also the founder of the Kunden Group, which comprises Kunden Services Nigeria Limited, Kunden Services UK, and Kunden Services LLC, USA.
Her passion for youth empowerment has motivated her to reach out to over 15,000 youths across the country by creating jobs for them. She has greatly improved the total well-being of the people in the communities she works in through the Alafia Foundation, an NGO she runs.
Dr. Bashorun is well read. She has a proven and quite intimidating CV which speaks volume about her personality and why she is breaking lots of grounds in her chosen line of business. She bagged her First Degree in Nigeria after which she got her MBA in International Business Development from Coventry University in the United Kingdom. Not resting on her oars, she went further to get enrolled in several impactful trainings in prestigious institutions like Barclays Bank, UK, Citibank and many others. She had her training in diverse areas Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Business Ethics, Anti Money Laundering, Relationship Management, Customer Service, Small Business Wealth Management among others.
Her over 24 years work experience in various reputable institutions is also worthy of note. She worked with the likes of Barclays Bank of the United Kingdom, Citibank of Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC Bank, UBA, Ecobank, ETB, Access Bank and Mastercard Worldwide among others. She started her career in 1993 at Nigeria’s foremost rating agency, Agusto and Co. She subsequently worked in Fountain Trust Bank before moving to Citibank in 1998. In 2001, she joined Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc as head of a relationship management unit charged with identifying viable accounts and managing selected customers through aggressive marketing. She then worked at Barclays Bank Walsgrave Triangle, Coventry, UK in 2005. On returning from UK, she worked at United Bank of Africa Plc, Bank PHB Plc, Ecobank Nigeria Plc and Equitorial Trust Bank Ltd, and at Access Bank Plc, where, as the Group Head of the Retail Sales and Cards Channels, she was tasked with growing the retail franchise of the Group.
While at Access Bank, she was head-hunted by MasterCard Worldwide to assume the position of Vice President (Prepaid Products Management) for Sub Saharan Africa. From MasterCard she worked in several organizations such as ZoomLion, Ghana where she functioned as head of West African business development of the organisation. She later left ZoomLion to establish ZL Global Alliance, where she has worked to grow the business tremendously since 2014.
She is an inspiration to many entrepreneurs and most especially the women folks. Her commendable service and innovative contribution to qualitative Waste Management and Environmental Solution initiatives have earned her lots of awards and accolades.
