The leading aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Mushin II Federal Constituency in the forthcoming House of Representatives elections, Hon. Seye Oladejo, has been honoured with the Political Icon Special Award by City People Magazine as part of its 2026 City People Political Awards.

This prestigious recognition affirms Hon. Oladejo’s enduring commitment to public service, his exemplary leadership within the APC, and his consistent contributions to governance and grassroots development in Lagos State—particularly in Mushin Local Government.

Over the years, Hon. Oladejo has distinguished himself as a seasoned administrator, party stalwart, and advocate of people-centred policies. His record of service includes his tenure as former Chairman of Mushin Local Government, his meritorious service as a two-term member of the Lagos State Executive Council, and his role as Spokesperson for the Lagos State APC. These positions reflect a legacy defined by impact, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of his constituency.

Although he was unable to attend the formal ceremony held in Lagos, the award will be officially presented at a later date. The recognition underscores the growing acknowledgement of his efforts in strengthening democratic values, promoting inclusive development, and advancing the ideals of the APC.

Reacting to the honour, Hon. Oladejo expressed deep appreciation to the organisers and dedicated the award to the people of Mushin and Lagos State at large. He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality representation and sustainable development.

“This recognition is not just about me; it reflects the collective aspirations of our people and our shared vision for a better Mushin and a greater Lagos,” he stated.

His constituents warmly congratulate him on this well-deserved honour and remain confident in his continued capacity to raise the bar in public service.
