Nigerian international, Ahmed Musa and his Algerian counterpart Riyad Mahrez are to remain Leicester City players till at least January 2018.
Both African players were named in Leicester City’s 25-man squad for the 2017/18 English Premier League season.
The club announced the team after the closure of the transfer window with both players – whose future at the club were uncertain – making the squad.
A host of European outfits was believed to be on the heels of the 26-year-old but none of the mooted deals materialized.
Earlier during the transfer window, a report surfaced saying that Musa was heading for Hull City on a season long loan deal, but his asking price was not met until the closure of the transfer window.
