The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Engr Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh described the national leader of the All Progressives Congress and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a true democrat and bridge-builder.
This, he said at a special birthday evening with 66 leaders of the future, in honour of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at 66, held at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The Council Chief portrayed Tinubu as one gallant Nigerian who fought not only for democracy but also the expansion of the nation’s political space.
Buraimoh highlighted Tinubu’s financial management ingenuity, unparalleled political mobilisation capacity and the ability to keep his large political family together, as some of the reasons Tinubu would continue to be celebrated and revered for a long time to come.
He went further to state that ” Asiwaju Tinubu also believes in the combination of the experience of political elders and the innovative ideas of youth, which to him is crucial to achieving good governance and sustainable development in the country.
” As we speak in Lagos State and beyond, Tinubu has opened the political horizon for some of us to have opportunity to serve. I owe my victory to Asiwaju Tinubu.”
He prayed for the national leader’s longevity of life, as he celebrates his 66th birthday.
An aspirant for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo Odofin LG constituency 1, Mr. Ola Folorunso, while describing the National leader of APC noted that “As a Governor, he left a legacy of excellence that continues to make Lagos a socio-economically enviable society within the committee of the globally recognized cities in the world.
