Renowned construction management professional, Asueifien Ukarioniso Imo-Jack, has been honoured with the 2023 City People Award for Excellence, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to construction projects management.
The prestigious award was presented on August 30, 2023, as part of City People’s annual Awards for Excellence, which celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional professionalism, leadership, and impact in their respective fields.
According to the organisers, Imo-Jack was selected for the special recognition award due to his proven track record in delivering large-scale construction projects with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, cost efficiency, and timely execution. With over 15 years of experience across the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors, he has built a reputation as a transformational project leader and strategic construction manager.
An alumnus of Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, where he obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management, Imo-Jack also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Architecture from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. His professional expertise spans the entire project lifecycle — from concept development and design coordination to construction planning, execution, and delivery.
Over the years, Imo-Jack has successfully led multidisciplinary teams on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects within Nigeria and beyond, aligning technical execution with organisational goals and client expectations. His strengths include construction planning and execution, cost control and contract administration, quality assurance and safety management, BIM integration, and stakeholder leadership.
