With huge request from Maryland Government and Nigerian in Diaspora   decided to extend the mobilization to Traditional Rulers who are the Chief Custodian of culture and traditions.
His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Iku Baba Yeye, Alaafin of Oyo Empire who is the Royal Grand Patron of Nigeria Carnival USA will be leading other traditional rulers to add more cultural value to the event.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olaiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo empire in Nigeria, due to his exemplary attribute and qualities both social, cultural, we have considered his attitudes, characteristics and achievements as outstanding traditional ruler, worthy of celebrating for the present day youths to emulate. The alaafin of the greatest Kingdom in the history of the black race.

One enviable high point in the life of this great monarch is his deep knowledge and high sense of recounting historic events with facts and figures and with an accuracy that beat the imagination of youthful intellectual.
