A new and dynamic movie production company called Black Thread Media (BTM) began auditions of the maiden edition of its movie talent hunt show tagged “Spotlight”
The 10 TV reality show is all out to scout for young talents who in the nearest future will take the Nigerian Movie and entertainment industry by storms.
Spotlight is a well-thought-out talents hunt show. It’s a laudable initiative by the executive producer and CEO of BTM, Joke Oke whose major goal is to give emerging talents from Nigeria a meaningful platform to showcase their craft. She is already bringing this into reality via the movie talent hunt reality show called Spotlight.
With this, young Nigerians who are talented and have passion for acting has the right platform to be identified and groomed to stardom.
The much-anticipated show had its initial auditions held for a couple of few weeks on the social media platforms of Black Thread Media. On Tuesday 12th September, the door to Spotlight was thrown an open audition to give the general public the avenue to take part in the contest.
The reality show according to organisers, Spotlight will admit 50 talents who would contest for top spots and they would be housed under a luxury apartment in Ilupeju Estate, Oshodi, Lagos .
At the end of the show, the winner goes home with a huge sum of N500, 000 while the 2nd place and 3rd place will bag a sum of N300, 000 and N200, 000 respectively. Each of them would also enjoy the privilege of taking a leading role in an upcoming movie project coming from the stable of BTM Production.
