The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Isaac Omodewu, has passed away in the United States of America.
Reports have it that in November 2023, the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State was in disarray after the governorship election when the party’s chairman, Isaac Omodewu, was said to be in coma in the United States of America.
According to reports, the party’s leaders and elders were at loggerheads to ensure that another executive member took his place.
Investigations on Monday showed that Omodewu succumbed to death after close to a year of receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the USA, where he was a citizen.
When contacted by our correspondent, the state Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, confirmed the development, saying he was dead.
