Star actress, Chioma Chijioke Anosike, is grieving. The death of her hubby has left her shattered.
Chioma was married to the late popular Movie director, Kingsley Orji Anosike. The couple got married in 2018 and recently celebrated their 4th year wedding anniversary. After her marriage, she called herself Mrs. A. Chioma Chijioke Anosike had her traditional and white wedding in December 20, 2018. One unique thing about this highly celebrated couple was the special bond they shared and how they always celebrated each other. Though, they are not the only Nollywood couples, but one couldn’t help but admire the special bond.
They were the envy of many in the industry, always all over each other, and use every opportunity to always express their love to each other. Even with their extremely busy type of career, they always make out time for each other.
Her husband, Kingsley Orji Anosike before his death was a highly respected filmmaker, producer and content creator. As a movie producer, he made sure, his wife Chioma got a role in every movie he directed and produces.
He didn’t stop at that, he went out of his way to showcase his pretty wife talents to other directors and producers in the industry and ensured, she gets a good role in their production. Besides the fact that Chioma is talented, her late husband paved way for her in the movie industry and practically made her the star, she is today.
When the news of Kingsley’s death broke, many were shocked and lost for words, mainly because he was a vibrant man, highly talented, hardworking. He was the National Vice President Association of Nigeria Movie Director (AMMD) and CEO of Unbeatable Family Movies. He sometimes played minor roles in some of his movies, a native of Aguleri in Anambra State.
It was gathered that Kingsley Anosike Orji allegedly slumped and died during a football match in Kuwait on Friday 17th February, 2023.
It was also gathered that he the successful filmmaker relocated to Kuwait in November 2022 and was planning to set up a studio in the country before the tragic incident occurred.
Many celebrities have taken to social media to mourn his death. One of his colleagues shared the news of his death. According to Director Ossybest. “Another sad day in the history of (ANMD) Association of Nigeria Movie Directors and Nollywood as a whole. It is sad and it came as a shock. Nollywood has lost another great person, an actor, a great filmmaker and film director. Let’s take time to pay respect to the great Film Director.”
All (ANMD members) please directors working currently in Cross River or Akwa Ibom State and also in Nigeria and beyond should suspend shooting Asap and give our National Vice President (Director Kingsley Anosike Orji) who passed on in Kuwait last respect. We find it difficult to believe your death but we can’t question God”.
Many kept wondering how Chioma is going to cope with this great loss. Besides nurturing the talent of the wife and making her a star, he also groomed her to be a movie producer as well, and she is currently making good money from being an actress and a producer as well.
They were so close that despite their show of love always on social media, they have both stayed out of scandal and have not been linked to any scandal both in their marriage and career.
In one of his many posts to celebrate his wife, on their 2nd wedding anniversary, he shared this special post to celebrate their love.
God made all grace abound towards us, that we are always having sufficiency in all things. We shall have an abundance for every good work. Happy 2nd marriage anniversary to us! Also just in December 20th, 2022, he also celebrated her on their 4th wedding anniversary.

One unique attribute this couple also display was to always wear matching outfits, which many always admire.
Just a few days ago, during Val’s Day celebration, which happened to be his last post before his untimely death, he also shared a photo of himself and his wife on his Instagram page with the caption: “Happy lovely Val Day from the unbeatable family! show love everywhere!
For those who don’t know much about Chioma, she is from Owerri in Imo State and she is popular for her roles in movies such as Herb Of Life, The Revenge, V8, Ancestral Hut, Omaliko Eyes Of The Gods, Ancient Key, Akudi, Bond Of Siblings, 5 Sisters, Sister’s Secret, Local Liars, Game Of Throne and a host of others.
She is very good at delivery of every role and often features in epic movies.
Before Kingsley’s death, they were both a winning couple. Chioma is popularly known as just Mrs A, which stands for Anosike, and they were admired and loved by many.
