The city people music awards just kicked off with the national anthem being rendered after many celebrities and members of the audience have been seated; meanwhile, the popular rapper, Rugged Man and compere, Honey Pot have taken over the stage.

However, the City People publisher, Dr Seye Kehinde in his welcome address acknowledged all-stars present while he also ensured absolute entertainment for everyone present.
“This is the first time we will be holding the event independently. This evening we are going to be honoring a lot of music stars who have made the country proud in the last one year
We promise that it is going to be an evening of pure entertainment and I hereby welcome all stake holders to this august event.” He said.
Present in the event is the ragga music legend, Raskie Mono, PMAN President, Pretty Okafor, COSON President, Tony Okoroji, the popular Gulder Ultimate Search voice, Femi Sowolu, Arthquake, BB Naija housemates, etc.
