On Sunday 23rd April, Sagamu-remo in Ogun State was the place to be, as Chief Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo opened the new corporate office of AMBA Properties Limited.
It is a befitting state of the art office for AMBA Properties which has a huge clientele base, made up of both Nigerians and expatriate companies operating in the Sagamu interchange area.
The day started with the installation of Chief Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo as the Baba Ewe of his Emmanuel Anglican Church, Sabo, Sagamu. It was a colourful ceremony which began at 11am that morning and ended at about 2pm.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Remo Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). His Grace, Most Revd. Dr. Michael Olusina Fape Ph.D conducted the installation and blessed the new Baba Ewe. The Vicar of the church Ven. G.K.O. Omolekinju did a great job as he conducted the service.
The day also happened to be Chief Ogunbayo’s birthday.
Once the installation, Iwuye and Birthday Thanksgiving ended, guests moved from the church premises in Sabo and moved to his new 7, Osinlaru Street, behind Odis Filling Station, Off GRA Road, Sagamu office for reception.
It was a well planned and well co-ordinated party as eminent Nigerians stormed the party. Music was by Faith Band as Ayo Ajekigbe thrilled guests. Ebenezer Obey’s son, Tolu Obey also performed.
Both got guests on their feet as everyone danced to good music.
Catering was handled b Ripples and the lady behind Ripples took charge and made sure everyone had enough to eat. Exotic drinks flowed like water.
Dignitaries include: Chief (Mrs.) Bola Obasanjo, Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye – SSA on Political Matter to Ogun State Governor, Olotu Omooba Oyedele, Jagunmolu Rotimi Martins, Mrs. Bola Allison, Hon. Adeleye Kuye, Chief Obafemi Ososanwo – Asoju Akarigbo.

It was a roll call of Royal fathers like HRM, Oba (Dr) Francis Olusola Alao who came with Olori Shola. He is the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon and Vice Chairman Oyo State Obas, HRM, Oba (Dr) Olufolarin Kayode Ogunsanwo, Alara of Ilara, Epe was there.
So also HRM, Oba Adesegun Bolaji Alowonle, the Elemuren of Emuren, HRM, Oba Akinola Akinrere the Olubosin of Ifeledo Kingdom Osun State was there.
Others include: HRM, Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu. He came with his wife, Olori Janet. HRM, Oba (Dr) Oyewole, Oyediran, the Olulamokun of Yakooyo in Osun State was there. So also HRM, Oba Kolawole Adeyemi, the Negbuwa of Ibudo, Sagamu. Also in attendance was HRM, Oba Taiwo Taiwo, the Onipara of Ipara, HRM, Oba Alayeluwa, Lukman Oluwadamilare Salami, the Olumogun Adimula Ebi of Idena, Iperu-Remo.

His wife was also very visible at the party. She is Chief (Mrs) Eunice Abimbola Ogunbayo, the Yeye Bashorun of Ishara.
Their children were in attendance, Teniola, Ipoola and Olajoju.
