Chairman of De Heavens Group, socialite and serial hospitality entrepreneur with diverse business interests in Hospitality, real estate, and other sectors, Chief Chijioke Awalite (Gburugburu), has expressed optimism in the face of many challenges confronting Nigeria as he marks this year’s birthday.
He stated that he is undeterred in his convictions that Nigeria remains a nation offering many great possibilities even with the prevailing economic challenges. He called on Nigerians not to give up on the country but rather remain steadfast in their collective effort to make the country work.
While calling on the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Awalite said the government needed to remain invigorated and steadfast in its promise and shared commitment to delivering good governance in line with the renewed hope agenda and the desire to fulfil the dreams of a Nigeria that works for all. Chief Awalite made the remarks as part of his response to goodwill messages to mark his birthday today, September 10 2024.
While speaking from his company’s corporate head office in Lekki, Lagos, Chief Awalite expressed deep commitment to the belief that Nigeria will continue to be a great country regardless of the existing economic challenges
He said “Today marks another milestone for me. However, instead of just celebrating and dining because it is my birthday, I have chosen to use this event and opportunity to call on our dear president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to look into the situation of Nigerians who are facing serious difficulties due to the declining economic crisis of our country at present
“While I believe that the president and his government are doing their best at this time, I am expectant, just as many Nigerians are that more can be done to alleviate the plight of our citizens, many in dire need of hope and help
“As I receive many goodwill messages today, I thank everyone and I use this opportunity to call on the government to continue in their commitment to giving Nigerians a better life as they have promised”
An astute businessman and employer of Labour, Chief Chijioke Awalite remains one of Nigeria’s most outstanding players in the hospitality industry with vast investments in key cities in Nigeria including Lagos, Awka, Uyo, and Owerri in Imo state.
Chief of the Akokwa kingdom in Ideato-North Local Government of Imo State, Chief Chijioke Awalite (Gburugburu) remains a steadfast contributor to community development and in developing human capital for nation-building, aside from employing thousands of individuals directly and indirectly.
As he marks his birthday today, we wish him many more years of happy celebrations with a long life and good health!
