Family gives details of the heart-rending incident
Concerned Parents and Educators have announced the death of renowned education advocate, business coach and Chief Executive Officer of Edumark Consult, Mrs Olayinka Adejoke Ogunde, who passed away in London on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.Educational Resources
According to the family, Mrs Ogunde died at the Harley Street Clinic, London, surrounded by her loved ones.
In a statement announcing her passing, the family described her as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend whose life was marked by service, compassion and impact.
They noted that beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a woman who transformed lives through education, leadership and mentorship.
“Mrs Olayinka Ogunde did not just lead, she shaped futures, opened doors and created opportunities. We celebrate a remarkable life whose impact will never fade,” the statement read.
Mrs Ogunde was widely respected as a certified leadership and business coach and was known for her passion for educational transformation and human development.
She was also described as a devoted woman of faith whose kindness, strength and warmth touched the lives of all who came in contact with her.
The family further said she strongly believed in the unity, prosperity and progress of Nigeria, especially in the transformation of the nation’s education sector.
Funeral arrangements, according to the family, will be announced at a later date.
